If you're used to prime shipping, the 3+ week shipping time will disappoint.PackagingPackaging was pretty minimal - just a cardboard box (which arrived torn open) with bubble wrap. The barbell itself was unharmed, but a beefier box would have been good. But at the end of the day it's a barbell - it survived the trip just fine.The barIt's a solid, well built bar. Some folks have mentioned the knurling is too much but I found it was just fine. Excellent grip. It's rated for 300 pounds - while this would be a ridiculous amount for a mortal to curl, it does seem that the bar would easily hold the weight. You're not gonna break it. It weighs in at 20 pounds on my bathroom scale.There's a little play in the sleeves. It's not a lot, and for a curl bar rated to 300 pounds it doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's not enough to make noise or anything. If I was trying to rip a 400 pound clean or something it might be an issue but for us home gym bros trying to get huge pipes it seems totally fine.They spin fine, and are held on with retaining clips rather than bolts, which is better than the curl bars I've seen in many commercial gyms. I did a little disassembly of the bar (an easy chore with snap ring pliers) and it's solidly constructed throughout.Overall it's a fantastic bar at a great price if you can wait for the shipping.

Definitely gym quality! Well made and arrived in perfect condition -- no rust, etc. One of the best things is that the angles for the grips are proper. So many are too flat or too steep on the angles. As others have noted, the knurling is really aggressive, but with a good set of lifting gloves it's fine. I highly recommend this bar, but you really, really have to be patient on the shipping. Takes a loooooong time...but 100% worth the wait.

It arrived in under two weeks, which is great compared to older reviews. The quality to great and the angled curves are correct. I have an extended right wrist from pitching for a long time and this angle does not affect my wrist like some others. Not enough angle on the grip hurts my wrist badly but this one does not. 10/10 all day. It was also on the lower price point at the time of purchase.

Wow, this is a very nice bar, especially for the price you pay. The knurl is very aggressive which I personally like, and the build/finish is outstanding. Also, the bushings spin very nicely. The sleeves are a little short, but that’s no problem in my opinion; they hold plenty of plates/weight for me. I really am impressed by how much value you receive for the price. This really is a very nice bar.

Would give a five star rating overall, however, the knurling on the bar is very aggressive and I had to add tape so it wouldn't tear up my hands.

This bar is great feels good in the hands. Excellent quality like the more expensive bars out there. It’s a great bar and the quality is great. If you don’t mind the shipping process due to the circumstances ( COVID-19) I waited a long time. If you don’t mind waiting then buy it you won’t regret it.

So far so good. Great value, perfect for my home gym. Grip is great, balance is fine. Sturdy for normal lifts. If you do this professionally- buy professional gear. This is good for home use and getting a decent pump. Definitely recommend!

Barbell is perfect. Didn’t have to wait as long as some of the others that ordered this, but I assure you it is no 2 days shipping.After two weeks mine arrived and I am in shock in how well the curl bar is crafted. Sleeves are a little short, but unless you’re Larry Wheels this shouldn’t be a problem.5 stars highly recommend!
