Uogw Power Adapter and Power Cable for Arlo Ultra and Arlo Pro3,Magnetic Connector Outdoor Use- - 20ft/6.1M (White)

This cable works as advertised. It provides constant power to an Arlo Ultra camera I have mounted over my driveway. When I plugged this into my camera the battery was at 7% and within a few hours it had a full charge and it's stayed topped off sense (about 3 weeks now). Using this power cable automatically enabled the "3 second look back" feature which makes the camera much more reliable (the biggest benefit in my opinion). In addition you don't have to worry about how often your cameras motion detector is triggered to record as your battery will never be depleted.As for the cable itself... In my opinion this design is best suited for use with the power adapter indoors or at least protected from the elements (under a porch or overhang) and the cable can be run through a wall (or window) outdoors to the camera. I like that it has an inline disconnect, so if you need to make a penetration through a wall (to access a power source), the penetration can be much smaller. The cable itself is a flat ribbon style cable and I'd much prefer a traditional round cable. In my opinion it doesn't seem very rugged or designed to withstand the elements (I could be wrong). In my case, I only have a few inches of the cable outdoors and it has some protection from elements, so I'm not to worried about it, but if you plan to have the cable 100% exposed to the elements, it could be a concern.That said, you could replace this cable 2 to 3 times and still save some money compared to the cost of the "Arlo" brand.

It is great to be able to find a charger for a good value for our Arlo 3 cameras. The batteries on these cameras are abysmal and frustrating to say the least. We found ourselves having to charge the batteries every 10-14 days. We installed solar on two of our cameras (great investment, by the way!) and have used this for the other two cameras. Out of the ten times we have charged so far, we received two "charging faults" in the app. We disconnected and reconnected to get everything going well.The cameras charge slower than we're all used to when we charge our mobile phones up in a matter of a couple hours, but they do consistently charge. Since we have the solar panels (Arlo brand ones because I have read horror stories about third party solar products for the Arlo Pro 3) installed, this is good for one of our cameras now as a full time charger. The camera remains at 100% and that is all we can really ask for.In an ideal world, we'd have these on all four of our cameras, but then we'd have cords running all around in and out of windows. :)In the end, if you want to take the 80% to 100%, you'll just have to check your app pretty quickly after plugging in to see if there's a fault. If so, a simple disconnect/reconnect on the camera (not the power plug!) SHOULD do the trick.Great charger!

We live in PHX and for some reason everyone in the neighborhood thinks it’s ok to leave their larger pieces of trash against our property wall. We can actually get fined for other ppl leaving there trash there. Dumb, I know.We put our extra camera back on our shed and also signs on our wall, but we kept having to recharge the battery bc of all the activity back there. This kit seems to fix that issue.We did had one neighbor come out and look at the camera, read the signs and look at our camera again. It was quite entertaining.

Though good value, the connection to start recharging the battery didn’t work immediately.

The power adapter works and charges my Arlo Pro 3. However, the magnetize connector is weak and falls off to easily. I may have to tie it on via ziptie or something. This is the only problem so far, but significant enough to reduce rating to 3 stars.

The power adapter output is 9Volt/1Amp. Arlo ultra power requirement is 5Volt/2Amps. Beware of these sellers- also the other end of the cable is not USB. However, after using it a few times, it charged my cameras with no issues, so far so good.

Product met my expectation. It worked effectively as I used it shortly after receiving it to charge one of my Arlo Pro 3 camera battery. Thought it might have been thicker though.

Looking for a system that you don't need to pay for expensive installation well this is the system for you! amazing and it only told me 30 minutes to set up my entire house.
