went very well. My deer went through without an issue. My lamb, was a bit more stringy and I had to clean the drive out three times for double processed lamb. But, they clean out time was like 5 to 10 minutes and easy to do. Seemed maybe to be a little loud, but I did just get my hearing aids tuned up ;) I gave it 5 stars after one use on a deer and lamb.

Used to grind venison, as long as the pieces fit down the chute, it will grind them without much effort on the machine. Stayed nice and cool the whole time, keeping the meat at a safe temp. Would buy again, but probably won't need to. This is the kind of thing you hand down to your kids. Impressed!

Well made - perhaps a bit over the top for regular household use (it weights almost 40lbs!). But, unlikemany consumer grinders, the gears are metal, stainless steel is used throughout and the design meansyou will not have oil leaking into the meat. For regular use, it should last for years. I notice many commentsand queries in Amazon reviews concerning the question "is it made in China?". It is, but purchasers should remember that many goods are made in China either by US companies or contracted out by US companies to production facilities in China (Apple laptops for example). Quality issues are (a) Is the US design good? and (b) How closely does the US company monitor production. I do not know who designed the grinder but it very much looks a US design and, in this case, a good solid US design. I do not know who is manufacturing the grinder-whether it is a US company, with a Chinese facility, or owned by a non-US company-but I can say it is well made. Indeed, much better made than some US products I see that are produced locally. So I have no hesitation in strongly recommending the quality of the product. On a value and reliability basis, it is surely as good or better than any locally produced grinder.

I’m a butcher I use various meat grinders daily. First use was perfect I double ground 7# of tri tip trim in under 10 minutes with no clogs or problems. I will be using this machine once a week for 7-10# of ground beef. I will update this review as needed.Jason

I have never fallen in love for any item before! This is so awesome! Easy to use, to clean, to assemble it. It does the job so perfect! Is so quiet, you barely can hear it working! I really love it!!!

The plunger is to small and when stuffing that was my only problem. I used my old plunger from my old stuffer because it fit better and then it worked good.Tim

Excellent grinder for processing wild game, used for breakfast sausage, ground venison (fine grind) and made link sausage (coarse then packing) i was able to process (grind) 1 axis buck, 2 whitetail deer and two hogs in about 2 hours. About 60lbs total.
