I like it a lot! Especially for the price!!! Raises and lowers easily enough (paper that came with the desk said it will get easier). Big enough to hold everything I need. Super sturdy! The frame is metal, the top is wooden with a finish that will "stain" with lotioned hands. The only down side is that since it doesn't have a separate area for the keyboard, it has to sit on the desk. When in its lowest position, the desk sits maybe 2" or so off the original desk, making it less comfortable for my wrists. Which takes away from the ergonomic-ness. Something to consider is the version with the keyboard cut out that week sit all the way down on the original desk.

Great concept but not working quite as advertized.1) when activating the handle to pull it up to standing height requires quite a pull. It doesn’t start easily. Hurts my back to get it to come up as it’s quite heavy. Once the first 6 or so inches are negotiated then I feel the the rest of the way is easy, and it’s simple to adjust the height to suit. But I grit my teeth to get it started. It’s as if there’s no support the first 6 inches.2) same issue on the way down. When I grasp the handle to set it back to desk height it moves easily. But the last 6 inches requires me to support the weight of the table and the two computer moniters otherwise it will smash down. Having to support the table Is very difficult and defeats the purpose of the table.I enjoy alternating sitting and standing for work but these two issues make my back problem worse, not better.

Really like this product. It gets four stars because when it first arrived we couldn’t get it to open. We tried giving a little shake and we tried giving it a little pull, but no success. My 22–YO son was able to get it to open, because he was strong enough to hold it up at an angle while he pressed the button, which seemed to release whatever got stuck. Now, it works like a dream. Pull the button, and it gently rises up; pull again to push it back down. Live being able to have a standing desk while teleworking!

Well packaged product, arrived in perfect condition. Unboxing/setting up was easy. Lever is the small slider on the top surface so you may have to move things out of the way during work if you need to raise or lower. Lowering the first time was tricky.Here's what to do. If raised up the entire height and you think it won't lower, the pressure you are applying is similar to the last push on an intertube tire pump when airing up a bike tire. You need to depress the gas chamber with that type of force until it losens up a bit. I did get nervous at first thinking the desk was broken but I figured out the force I needed to apply to lower it that 1st time.The desk is sturdy, no wobble. Laminated surface and zero assembly! I really like this product and would recommend for those like me working from home with a laptop.

This is one of the best investments I've ever made. I work at my laptop many hours per day and have read how important standing is for circulation and health. I installed an app on my phone to remind me to stand. This desk is incredibly well built and solid, but not at all too heavy. The lever is simple to operate and the hydraulic piston makes raising everything on the desk very easy to do. It accommodates my laptop, extra monitor, mouse pad/mouse, my cup of coffee, note pad and many other items (like pen and office supply holders) all in one place. I don't have to move any of them. I stand and work and then gently push the desk back down to it's resting position. I looked quite a bit at the more expensive alternatives but can't imagine them working any better. Also, it worked perfectly right out of the box with no assembly required. If this desk were to break down (which I can't imagine) I would simply order another one the same day. I have recommended this to at least a dozen friends who work from home like I do.

this product works perfect for what I need. almost all the other standing desk have a keyboard try which I did not want since I don't use it and it makes the overall platform much taller. This sits closed is only 2.5 inches from the top of my desk and raises as tall as I need it and could go taller (I'm 5'9").Although I give it 5 start, there are a couple things to keep in mind with this desk. it takes a little bit of extra effort to pull the top up from being completely closed. It also likes to pull a little harder the last inch or so when lowering it. Always use two hands and have a good grip on the top before you press the handle to lower

Perfect lift desk for me. I did not want a keyboard tray - the surface is perfectly flat and smooth. Large enough for my laptop, second monitor, mouse and mousepad, pens and pencils and CD/DVD drive, with room to spare. Strong enough to hold all that AND if my cat wants to jump up there too. Raises as tall as I need and could go taller (I'm 6').As with all the other reviews, the arriving package is heavy, 50lbs, and it takes a little bit of extra effort to pull it up from closed or to lower from full extension (use two hands). These are all to be expected - it's a very nice spring mechanism that will lock at any height (infinite placement). It is ready to rock, straight from the package, no assembly.VERY satisfied with this desk.
