Solaron is one of the top quality brands of Korean blankets. It is dense. You can curl the waft and weave back on itself and not be able to see the base/middle fabric at all, because of the number of threads per inch.If you are looking for a heavy single blanket to keep you warm in a cold room (it can get down into the 40's Fahrenheit / single digits in Centigrade) then this is for you.This is a cold-winter blanket. Maybe still OK for the shoulder months, but too hot for Spring/Fall.If you can not sleep under a heavy blanket - this is not for you.But if you want to stop using an electric blanket or need a great blanket to keep you warm all night even in below freezing temperatures . . . look no further.

Solaron has the softest blankets. This one was for my son and the navy was true to color. My kids appreciated the solid color blankets, also love the weight and the extreme softness.

I have not washed this item yet so I can not attest to how it will hold up to washing. I used it straight out of the package, did not notice any strong chemical smell like others reported. This is NOT a lightweight blanket, is heavy (i ordered the full/queen size), you will know you have a blanket on you for sure. Extra soft and cozy, might not be a true Korean Mink blanket like a previous reviewer said, but it is the closest that I have found in a long time. Have not noticed any shedding from blanket either (someone else mentioned having that problem).

This Solaron Korean "Mink" blanket is the best blanket I've ever had. It is heavy and warm as toast. I just use this with a bedspread over it and pull up the goose down comforter when it is really cold out. I haven't washed it yet, but will follow the directions when I do. It is a little on the skimpy side--wish I'd ordered a king-size blanket for my queen-size bed. But still and all, I like this blanket better than any one I have ever owned.

I have been looking for an acrylic Korean minky blanket but everything I found online is polyester. I bought this as it stated it was 100% acrylic but it is 100% polyester so that was disappointing. I was going to return based on that but I kept it because it seems impossible to find what I’m looking for. The color of this blanket is a steely gray blue and appears lighter than the picture because of the sheen. I would call it a medium gray-blue. It is soft and heavy, feels silky but not as silky as I had hoped or felt with some other minky fabrics. Not sized to hang over the sides of the bed like a cover so size up if that is what you want.

Solaron is always a quality product. We had other mink blankets in the past, but none compares to Solaron. Worth every penny!

Super warm during the cold winter in Iowa, thick and heavy like a weighted blanket. Soft, my cats LOVED sleeping on it too would definitely buy again!
