I received the chain today and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the peice. It is well made, with a heavy link and is solid stainless steel. I don't know what I was expecting, but I am extremely pleased with the chain that came. I have always had solid gold jewelry, and after my mother passed, I wanted some kund if keepsake to hang in my rear view mirror so I bought a pendant and this chain, but after getting it, it is something that I would actually wear. It is exactly as pictured in the description.

Very high quality & well made! I ordered the 28 inch (I'm 5'9" tall, weigh 160#). MEASURE YOUR SELF FIRST so that it hangs where you want it to! I bought it to go with the S/S VALTCAN pill container, (which I just discovered is no longer available thru Amazon, oh well), to put some of my baby girl's ashes in. The chain has a nice weight and smooth feel, doesn't catch on clothes & is comfortable enough to wear around the clock. Doesn't seem to be affected by salt water or pool water, as I'm an avid boater. If you want a beautiful but simple chain, that's not made from expensive precious metals, then this is a great choice! It's very sturdy & strong, it even holds the weight of the S/S VALTCAN I also bought. Most people think it's made from white gold or silver. And as it's described, it IS UNISEX! Nice by itself or with any pill container, charms, crosses, etc.

The chain I purchased is beautiful. It is smooth so my crucifix does not hang up on any part of the chain. At 4 mms the chain is beefy which I like because I wanted a chain that would hold up to daily and continual usage. The cIamshell clasp opens and closes easily and is quite secure. i deducted one star because of the jump rings used to attach the chain to the closure components. Jump rings are not secure and can fail very easily. I will be replacing them with stainless steel, 6mm split rings. IMHO, split rings are more durable and will make my chain much more secure because "a chain (really) is as strong as it's weakest link."

Order one for my husband's cross and this chain broke within 3 months. Order a second one, broke within 1 week. My husband was doing nothing strenous, the second time he was walking down our hallway and it just gave way and slipped off his neck. One of the rings that holds the clasps had broken and was nowhere to be found. The chain itself was good but the connection to the clasp is garbage.

This is the third necklace for my husband and I hope the last! He tore through two gold and one sterling silver as if they were made of dental floss. I finally decided to get stainless for him, and he loves it. This is a thicker chain so, in my opinion, looks nice on a man's neck. I can see women wearing it as well. It's heavier than gold or silver, obviously, but he doesn't mind the additional weight and I love that it won't tarnish.

This neckchain arrived quickly and is beautiful! The clasp is small enough to go through an average sized pendant and still substantial enough to wear alone. Very smart purchase. No tarnish because it's stainless steel. Very sturdy and easy to put on even with acrylic nails..The lobster claw clasp is easy to operate.
