Doesn’t work half the time. Poor distance.
Works half the time. Gotta keep hitting button until it starts to light up. Must be bad connection inside.Distance sucks also.Not thrilled with it. But it works some times. I love the 4 buttons on it…

Doesn't clone as advertised
Have 4 Genie garage door openers and so wanted 1 remote. New remote would not clone/learn when placed correctly and instructions followed. Instructions - used instructions supplied and also instructions found online. Was able to get 2 of 4 doors to work with by getting on a ladder to be right beside each one. Even this trick didn't work with the 2 out in the shop. I'm better off with our old Genie remotes, at least they could open 3 doors....

Has pretty good range. Nice small unit that I can carry in my pocket while I’m on my bike. Great so far after a couple months

Ryobi compatible
Works great on both of my Ryobi Garage door openers. Easy to program!

Incompatible with Ryobi GD125 garage door opener
The compatibility list says it works with Ryobi garage door openers, but I was unable to program it with my Ryobi GD125. Genie customer service rep was helpful and walked me through the programming routines several ways, then looked up the Ryobi remote frequency and noted that this universal remote is actually incapable of transmitting or receiving at that frequency.

Works great
The main remote for our Ryobi garage door opener stopped working. I felt the price to replace it was high. After a little more shopping I came across this Genie universal remote. It works great.

It works!
Always skeptical of “universal” remote claims.But for me, it worked. 1 Genie and 2 Liftmaster operators to program. The only issue I had was the Liftmaster receivers must be set to normal security via the jumper. Once done, boom.Just what I needed and it’s tiny as well.

wprked great for me
I think that the few bad reviews on here are mostly operator errors. I had no trouble programming, just had to take my time, remembering not all electronics work on the first try. I had 4 different remotes on my truck visor, now I'm down to one. I programed to a Genie a Chamberlan, and 2Extreme openers from Menards. If I can do it you can too. The instructions list a couple of methods, if one doesn't work try the other'
