These gates definitely surpassed my expectations! I purchased gates before, but they lasted just few months before falling apart. I purchased another set recently, but within a week they were broken. I just ordered a set from Chewy but had to return them since they seemed very inferior :( After searching relentlessly for hardwood gates, I found these..They are heavy!! When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and well-constructed they were. I used a coat of clear marine varnish to protect the wood. I also love the little "gate" opening and the support legs. I'm using it to keep my doggie from getting out, but it also keeps the ducks off my patio.Would highly recommend!

Very happy with white 3 panel + 1 gate panel. Attractive and sturdier than anticipated. Works well for my Lhasa Apso and makes for easy in/out.

So the gate looks expensive, great color, great height, very nice in any room. You can pose it and change/conform to different positions. The lock works, it doesn’t close on its own so you have to remember to latch it. I have it positioned between 2 walls so it’s sturdy and my 13 lb very active terrier cannot get over or knock it over. However, if it’s used as a stand alone and you have an active dog he won’t knock it over but WIlL get threw the sides as it’s not the sturdiest unless it’s positioned where it cannot be moved.

finally made a good choice when I bought this gate, it was already to go, put where I wanted it set the where I wanted them and it was ready to go. thank you for making a product that works like it should and looks good to.

We bought 2. We have a new 9 week old puppy and wanted to confine her to our kitchen and office. We borrowed couple of cheep wooden accordion gates that didn't fit. Going in and out of these areas was a nightmare with the puppy. These gates open and close in seconds. They also adjust to different openings and locations with ease. They're high quality and attractive. We couldn't have made a better purchase! Pete

This gate looks nice. It works well for my purposes. However, the gate is not really up to the task of barricading kids or rambunctious dogs. The gate doesn't have a strong closure and the two stabilizing feet don't provide enough stability--there aren't enough of them and they don't reach the floor completely so they don't lay flat. I advise to use only as a light duty barrier. Hope this helps!

This is fantastic for keeping the pups out of the kitchen without having to deal with the typical pressure installed baby gates. IF your pups are NOT already crate trained to respect barriers, this may not work, but my pups who are 100 lbs each and as tall as Great Danes, do not even attempt to get past this gate!
