I bought one of these in 2017 and it still works great on the original battery. The key to preserving the battery life is removing the battery when not in use. Removing the battery is quick and easy. The cradle that holds the battery pops out with a pull - no screwdriver or tool necessary. Then I place the battery/cradle in the box with the scale, and it's ready for the next trip.The display is easy to read and understand and weight measured by the scale is always close enough to what the airport check-in counter scale reads.This scale has been on trips cross country and around the world, and there have been more than a few times where my family played the game of transferring items from one suitcase to another (on the floor of the airport, in the middle of crowds) so that we could get all the luggage under the weight limit.In addition to weighing bags in pounds and kg, it also tells the ambient temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. But it functions well to weigh bags -- when I've checked it has usually been at or within a pound of the airport scales. A warning on battery life: It is shorter than you think! As the battery starts to drain, it still turns on and senses weight, but it fails to "lock" after you lift a bag. Be sure to have spare CR2032 button cells available to save frustration!

Works as intended, wanted something light and chose the orange color to be easily findable in my bag when im traveling.
