The keys are very cool. Got them for my grandaughter as part of her room decoration: All things old and having to do with door keys. She is a free spirit of decoration. Her birthday was 4wks ago...however, she's also changed her mind on design schemes currently featuring keys and other old items. Now... now, her skater mojo is on and she's thinking of doing that type of design scene. She's 12 and on a roll. Aside from all that... the keys have a good weight to them and are solid. They clankle as "old" keys should and are great quality for the price.

These are pretty cool, but they definitely didn't look "rustic". They had a thick coat of shiny brown paint and looked like they had simply been been dipped in a paint bucket and left to drip dry. I did strip the paint off with solvent then seasoned them in a hot oven much like you would a cast iron skillet. Now I have a really cool accent for my living room.

These definitely add something to our living room. Most of our decor is modern/rustic with various antique items thrown in the mixture. We have a tall storage cabinet that we keep miscellaneous kids stuff out of sight in and I have these hanging on the door knobs. Its nice because I can hear the keys moving around when my kids are snooping in the cabinet and its also just a little something that catches your eye when you walk through the room. Not something you would expect to see hanging on a living room cabinet door but add a little something interesting to the room.

The real deal… or as close as I will get trying to find a “piratey” key ring for a prop! It is heavy… a tad weathered look as well. Price perfect! Looks like the key ring that came out of the dogs mouth on the WDW Pirates of the Caribbean ride!

I was expecting something that was more defined. Maybe filigree is more what I was looking for. These keys are just plain bland. Total length is about 8 1/2 inches with the circular ring being about 3 3/4 inches. Really wanted something that accentuated the keys not the ring. They just don't stand out. They are heavy and seem to be what most people are looking for because reviews are very good. Don't know if they'll rust, but I may just place them in a flower bed to see if I can at least give them an aged look. Package did arrive on time and appropriately packaged.
