I haven't used it yet, but from what I can see and feel, this digger is built like a tank. I wish the handle wasn't black but a brite color like yellow or orange, so it would be easier to find if misplaced.The sheath appears to be well-made as well. There is a rivet at all three stress points, and it appears to be made from ballistic nylon.Overall, this is a good digger for the price.

This was a purchase that I knew nothing about the quality of the product. We received and put it straight to use. I was a bit worried as I have had this type of shovel bend under pressure when digging. I believe this one too may bend if the soil is hard, but for use in the local park grass when metal detecting it worked great.

I have been using this tool for about a year now with my metal detector to help cut through roots, etc. It has stayed sharp, has a nice holder to keep the blades protected. The size is great, not too big for my needs.

This little shovel is a pleasure to use when digging shallow holes in the park. I can quickly access metal objects and flip the grass plug back over when done. A firm step on the plug allows it to go back into place. This shovel is quite sharp and that is why it is easy to use. Quality built.
