Nuvo Iron Decorative Insert for Fencing, Gates, Home, Garden - Oval, 17"

This is the second one of these I have installed. Totally changes the look of your gate and is very easy to install. Take your time and follow the instructions and you will have no problems. Highly recommend!

Our neighbors have a big bloodhound who loves our little corgi, and the feeling is mutual. They used to whine at the fence and even nap near it to be close together.Fast forward to me with a saw and a drill, and this adorable window was installed!Now the doggos say hello to eachother whenever they want 💗 and the humans can give pets too! It's perfect. The quality is excellent, and the instructions are very clear!

Installation was pretty straightforward with the included directions and template. Seems like a nice quality aluminum material. I feel at ease using this instead of the plastic dog windows.

Very easy to install. Only gripe would be that there needed to be a bigger cutout between the screw holes and the main cut circle since there is a little metal connecting piece between it. Not a big deal, but not in the instructions. We used 3/4" pickets which seemed to work nice and snug, but 5/8" pickets might rattle or move around depending on how they're fastened.

The media could not be loaded.  My husband installed them and it looked pretty easy to do. The jigsaw is the most important tool for this project. Kit comes with a set of different sizes of screws and template for measuring where it needs to go. We used the shorter screws for this fence. This is aluminum, not wrought iron so you have to be delicate with it. One of the screw entrances broke off when we opened the package but we manage to get the screw in. I really like the fancy look. Overall nice product!

Excellent construction and it possesses a high degree of visual appeal. The instructions are good on the packaging and follow them carefully. There is a video but this is for the square version. As well, the video instructions have the gate removed from the hinges. I was not able to do that and had to maneuver the jig saw vertically which made it challenging to cut it accurately. They call for a 5/8" size drill bit to allow for the 3 screw pockets and to give access for the jig-saw blade to cut the hole. I used a 1/2" drill bit as it was all I had and was left with reaming the hole out. I strongly recommend using the 5/8" as clearly indicated in the instructions to save time and aggravation. Also, I used my Dremel 3000 with a small round sanding head to smooth out the cuts from the jig saw. This left a more polished finish and it ensured it would fit as well. I tried to not use the rubber hammer on it but it would not fit until I did so. Again, this is in the instructions so do follow this advice. Last piece of advice, paint/stain the cut marks as they are visible when up close. This is a simple feature which may not matter to most people but I took the time to stain the cut marks and I like the finished look it presents. As well, moisture can penetrate this area so it is good to protect it. Overall, I am very pleased with the result of this insert and would recommend it for its quality and attractive qualities.
