this product was good. It strengthen my hair, but henna is very drying on the hair. If you use add some oil to the product with the water .I will purchase this product again Tthere are two types of henna. One for dying hair and one for just adding strength and shine. This one was just for strength and shine.

This actually sent me to the hospital . Had an allergic reaction . Had blisters on my head and my face got swollen . Please be aware if you have side effects like itching, redness, and swelling so the face or scalp.

Ok, I have been on a quest to keep my hair as natural as possible without it being gross. I stopped using products with sulfates back in 2013. It tooks weeks of adjusting but my hair made it. I then switched to sulfate free cleansing conditioner. I wanted to transition to a "no-poo" lifestyle. I tried vinegar/baking soda but that just left my hair gross. This works, but I've realized it takes a little trial and error.The instructions with this are less than vague. I have found that mixing one pouch (it comes two pouches to a box) with a little over 2 cups of hot water works well for me. I put the solution in a pump bottle and put about seven pumps directly on my head in the shower. I only apply this to my roots and let the excess get my ends (note: my hair is about 33" long). Sometimes, I put four pumps on my hair, scrub, rinse, and follow up with a few more pumps.If you are going right from sulfate shampoo to this; I can almost guarantee your hair will be a greasy mess. To help combat this, I would make the solution a little stronger. I researched and found that this product can be mixed with water at a 1:1 ratio. I did this once but did not care for it. A, it made my ends a little too dry (but if your hair is shorter this might not be such a problem). A. it felt very gritty. I'm sure it was fine, but mentally I felt like I was ripping my hair out. Anyway, I read that if this leaves your hair a little too greasy you can use soapnuts in conjunction; I have not tried that, though.One last thing to mention, and maybe this should have been at the top, I feel that I am losing less hair. I have been using this product for a month now and I am cleaning less out of the drain at the end of each shower. If you can be patient with a new product, I encourage you to give this one a try.

It workes just fine. It is just a little dusty compared to the brand I usally use.The price is worth it just be ready for the dust.

The color of this is brown and it smells like cocoa to me. I thought I put too much liquid in but it ended up being just right. The look of the mixture texture in the bowl is misleading as it looks smooth but is very gritty. It was a bit challenging to get on my hair. I know next time to section my hair and start at the roots. I added coconut oil and water to the powder. My hair was very smooth and silky after use. It has been a few days and I have washed with shampoo a couple times. It still feels nice. It did not leave any stain or color that I can see but my hair black with light brown roots right now. I will add this to my hair routine.

This is by far THE BEST hair care product I've tried in years. I mixed the powder with warm water as per the instructions and although the mix was a but runny it didn't drip at all. I left the product on for 90 minutes and was pleasantly surprised to see that it washed out quickly and without staining the shower. Didn't use any shampoo or conditioner and yet my hair was silky smooth and had unbelievable shine. I was skeptical about Ayurvedic hair remedies but this does the trick! I will definitely keep using this in the future.
