Outrageously expensive toner cartridges
Bought a new Canon printer in September 2022; it was more than $600 and it’s terrible. The pre-loaded Canon tower cartridges consistently leaked, created random yellow lines across the bottom forth of the page, and smeared black ink indiscriminately all over the pages. Also, all the colors are very dim (— my old ink jet colors were much more vibrant). At the time I bought the printer, I also order full replacement toner cartridges that were marketed on Amazon as compatible with this printer (chose them due to lower cost than the Cannon cartridges) However, the printer rejects them; it simply turns off. Now, it seems that to buy these new Canon toner cartridges, it will be another $550+ — an outrageous price that I hesitate to pay for a new printer that barely works anyway.

Too expensive
I bought the printer for almost the same price (~$600)Canon, you can stop wondering how much you can raise the price before people stop buying. Congratulations, you found the answer!

Great product but too expensive
The toner was easy to install and it works very well. The only problem I have with the toner is the cost per sheet of printed documents. It almost cost the same to purchase a new printer.

Way, way too expensive
At this price and at the rated capacity of 5900 pages, it will cost you 11.6 cents/page. That's way too much.
