Gaviscon Advance Aniseed 500ml Pack of 2 with (2 Free Plastic Liquid Measuring Cups 30ml)

This tastes strongly of black licorice/anise seed so do not get this particular type of Gaviscon if you do not like that flavor! I do like it and find that this works quickly and is extremely effective, worth every penny! I am a faithful customer because it solves even my very worst heartburn issues completely within minutes.

Good product.. Overpriced, but it does the job. The bottles were wrapped well to prevent breakage.

I ordered a double pack of these. It says on the bottle “for dispensing only, not for retail sale”, I don’t know why it says that or if it can be taken as a retail purchase. At any rate, the first bottle was ok as a Gaviscon sodium alginate antacid, but the second was thinner, had a weird smell, and didn’t work at all. It was like taking nothing, which is quite dangerous for GERD. I tried to communicate with the seller within the return policy, and they asked me to describe the issue for it to be returned, which I had already in my original message. After I responded, they told me they couldn’t assist me and I’d have to go through Amazon. After I insisted though, they did respond to assist me with a return for the one bottle and an assurance the issue with that one bottle won’t repeat. I appreciate it and because of that, I will order again from them..

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this product before but this is the first time I have received a bad product! One of the bottles had leaked and the seal was broken, and both have a product that is very, very dense, thick, kind of "coagulated" -I cannot find another word to describe it-.The product is grainy and doesn't flow -as you can see in my video- it is almost as if you would have to spread it with a knife!It is a pity because it is a great medicine -except, it is not so this time around; however, they do have a great customer support team that I reached out to and they offered to make things right. I am in that process at the moment and hopefully, the result will make this a 5 stars review -once again.EDIT AND UPDATE.Their FANTASTIC customer support team sent me a replacement and the product that I received this time around is as good as ever!!The A2Z Store has done a great job and I fully recommend the merchant and the product!I am very, very happy with the Gaviscon Advance that I have received!!

This product arrived in this state. I have no way of requesting a replacement for this item and Amazon is of no help. I need help with this item so this was the only way I could put in a request. I love the Gavascon Advance product-it is very helpful to me. However at $25.00 per bottle this is totally unacceptable. This happened some time before it arrived as the product is dried in places inside the packaging.

I had been in the hospital 2x for a CT scan and a young lady who was testing me asked about my symptoms. She was much younger and said she was going through the same thing. She gave me a piece of paper with “search Amazon for Galvascon Advance and try it”. I am not on my 3rd bottle and I can tell you it’s good if you can deal with the thickness and the taste. I take a shot before most meals and it helps with my constant chest and throat pain. I would highly recommend it to anyone diagnosed with Barretts or bad case of GERD. It is not a cure but you will be able to eat without killing yourself.

Yeah it's thick and doesn't work in the cup. So I use a spoon. As for taste I wasn't expecting it to taste like ice cream but I've tasted worse and I could care less as I'm not looking for this to be part of a fine dining experience but to help me survive one where I may have eaten something that was more acidic than I was aware of. So I have no complaints because it works like nothing else and it is the algae that is the secret ingredient.PPIs are not good for you and the two days I took them I was miserable.So I went to a dietician, read a recommended book called "The Acid Watcher Diet" by Dr Aviv, and adjusted my diet. So I don't have to take this often but I'm grateful I have a rescue medicine.Gamma knife radiation for a brain tumor damaged the nerve that controls the top flap on my esophagus that keeps stomach acid from invading that pipe. I can't fix that damaged nerve and I have LPR as a result. But with the adjusted low-acid diet, no caffeine, and this when I need it, I'm a grateful survivor.
