The parts in this kit function well, and operates smoothly

Got this to just to get some 8 pin devices quickly but glad to have extras of the other sizes on hand. All work fine with no issues.

First, the JST-XH series is 2.50mm exactly not 2.54mm (i.e., 100mil/0.1"). These do follow that, so it's just an incorrect description. (Usually it's close enough, but the 8,9-position headers get a bit tight if forced into 2.54mm holes.) Second, the "male" crimp pins are not used in this series which has only plugs and headers that already have their pins. Third, with only 200 "female" crimp pins and with 20*(6+7+8+9)=600 plug holes to fill, you're going to be way short if you're planning to use them all. But like I said, okay for prototyping.

Chopped up a few balance cords, and was able to fix those batteries right up.

I've started using these to make semi permanent connections between Arduino Nano and sensor modules. These are very reliable I use a crimper from the "Engineer" brand which does a lovely job.
