I loved the first set so I ordered another. This one came with broken bits even though the package wasn’t damaged. Actually, the package wasn’t even sealed! I’ve requested a replacement. Update: the replacement came almost immediately and with no broken parts!

Saved me in Geology class
I broke the tile sample given to me. This worked like a charm. Left perfect streaks. Did not break at all. Worth buying if you are taking a class that involves determining the hardness/streak of minerals/rocks.

Product is good. Shipping packaging is only so-so. Expect some to be chipped or broken.
They're streak plates as advertised. I ordered 3 sets for my upcoming unit on rocks/minerals and only two of the tiles arrived chipped - which isn't bad when compared to what other reviewers found when the opened their boxes. Chips are small and on corners, so the plates will still work for what I need.
