I would not have bought this slicer if I had known how difficult it was to clean. No instruction as to how to release the carrier to allow it to be cleans and the blade is difficult to take off and replace, the plastic carrier tray squeeks as it is slid forward and back.

I used it for slicing sourdough bread. Takes a while to figure out the assembly. Then the blade struggles to penetrate, distorting the loaf. Some of the crust gets stuck under the blade, causing a blockage. The thing squeals as you slide it through. Then you have to clear up the awful mess it makes and wash all the many parts. The blade itself is not too bad to remove but is so difficult to replace as the cogs that drive it have to be in perfect alignment as well as the lugs in the centre. I wish l had returned it. Looking at other electric slicers in the price range though, l think they would all suffer the same issues. Easier to use a bread knife if it wasn't for my arthritic hands.;

I got this meat slicer early this week, the instruction is in the package, it’s quite easy to follow the instruction and use, also easy to clean after using it.It’s foldable so saving space for storage.It can be used for slicing meat, also slicing for vegetables or cheese, we tried slicing meat, much better sliced than cutting by a knife.One thing to note is that it requires a rest after 4 mins of continuous use.

Just a single note of, I've only used it once to cut up a cooked beef joint.Small bug bear, but it is squeeky. I will be adding a little cooking oil to the bottom to try and stop this for each use.You push the meat manually and this isn't an issue and works perfectly fine, but the feet don't stick at all to the counter. I will looking into some mats for the future.Now I normally wouldn't put a 3 for such minor issues, but the feet not applying enough friction and the whole thing moving with a stationary blade would be an issue, but with a rotating blade is a big no no! The feet need some sucktion cups or something.

Could do with a better quality blade. Which by the way arrived with polishing/buffing residue on the edges, which took some cleaning to get off.

Loved that it fold’s away but cover plate folds up but can’t be removed. All the meat scraps get stuck down it, had to use a knife to clear it out. When slicing, the plastic guides squeal very loudly as it slides along the aluminium base! Excruciating
