Opposites Chunky Lift-a-Flap Children's Board Book (Babies Love)

Bought for my 9 month old nephew. He enjoyed opening the flaps with his little finger. Kept him entertained. Thick book that is able to withstand his curious mouth.

I was disappointed that all of the flaps are the same size and shape and open in the same direction. Not as much fun for the baby.

Cute book. Well put together and our 19month old grandson repeats it back to us. Gave it 4 out of 5 star's though as the last page scares our grandson in having an Owl inside the tent!! Why not a human child? This was poor judgment on the authors part, as our grandson now thinks owls can come in.his tent where he likes to sleep, but recently at 21 months has become fearful.

Happy with our purchase. I'd love if it was a little longer. But the colors, images, and flaps make it a great interactive book for my little one. He can turn the pages and loves to point out animals or objects he recognizes.

Son and daughter in law read this one to the twins every night - they love their stories and seem to get the purpose behind the book.

I have other opposite-themed books that were better. My son loves the older Bunnies by the Bay "Where's Puppy" version with the dog on every page. He also likes the newer Bunnies By the Bay "Opposites" book with a fabric dog on the front cover. Both of those books had more examples and the images were pretty clear so I liked those better. I do own a number of Babies Love books and love them - its just I do not like this particular one because the images of the opposites need to be more drastic or clearer.

My son loves his other lift-the-flap books and this is no exception! He will bring us this book to read as he lifts the flaps in it. Great color pages and I love that it teaches opposites. Highly recommend.

I love these series of flap books. Older babies and toddlers love to lift the flaps and see what's underneath. Great book. Sturdy, nice illustrations.

We love the Babies Love Animals book, so we bought this and are slightly disappointed. The illustrations are cute but don't do the best job at conveying opposites, especially the light and dark page where you can barely tell the difference. My 20month old still loves opening the flaps and talking about the pictures, like pointing out the animals and flowers etc. Overall these Babies Love books are great construction, very sturdy and easy for little fingers to grab the flaps, would be suitable for much younger babies.
