CeraVeBlemish Control Face Cleanser with 2% Salicylic Acid & Niacinamide for Blemish-Prone Skin 236ml

The bottle itself allows you to lock the pump, making it very nice to store without worrying about spills and incredible easy to use. A 236ml originally felt small but after using it twice daily for a few weeks, the bottle is still more than half full - an incredible deal for the price it's set at. This means it'll surely last a while.In terms of effectiveness, the product itself works wonders even after a single use. It leaves the skin feeling and looking soft and helps to deal with possibly embarrassing spots and clogged pores. In my case, it effectively removed excess oils and made the skin look great. Of course, it doesn't entirely get rid of spots - it's not magic! However, in my case, it has helped to at least reduce the amount of them or conceal them a bit.For my oily skin, it removed the oils and made the skin feel soft rather than moisturise but this may be different on different types of skin.

This is the second cerave face wash I've tried, the first one was the foam cleanser. I suffer with acne around the jawline mostly so I thought I'd try this one. The foam cleanser helped but I'd still get break outs every so often. This bleamish control one has done the job so far, I've not had any further break outs since using this one so it's great and I'm about to purchase my second bottle of this one. There's no scent, it keeps my skin hydrated, where as the foam cleanser did dry it out quite a bit. This bottle is slightly smaller but it's still great value for money for the quality of the product and it leaves my skin really soft. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.

I don’t know why i ever stopped using this face wash - it was the only one that didn’t break me out. I’m glad to be back using it again and my skin is clearing up. Definitely recommend! Has a pleasant scent and foams up nicely. The most effective face wash i’ve ever used. Also doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry after.

I had really oily skin, but with this soap it got much better!! I used to use it in the morning and before going to bed, but it made my skin dry. I now that I use it just before going to bed and it's enough for the whole day. I've been using this product for three years now and my skin has never been oily again thanks to this soap. A small quantity of the product is enough so it lasts a really long time. If you have normal or dry skin this product might not be good for you since the salicylic acid is quite strong compared to other acids, like hyaluronic acid.

I have really awkward skin - eczema on my eyelids, dry skin all over my face, but spot prone around my chin (thanks to endometriosis). I have been using this face wash alongside the cerave oil free spf day moisturiser, cerave retinol serum, and cerave oil free night moisturiser for a couple of months now and my skin seems the best it has in ages. Takes off makeup fairly easily (sometimes I have to double wash to remove all mascara or dark lipstick). No smell. Does not irritate my eczema or dry skin. Leaves my skin feeling clean. No skin burns to my cheeks (which I am really prone to due to my sensitive skin!)Good size bottle and pump is still working well. Will be re-purchasing when I run out but still have loads left.

I highly recommend this product. As a pregnant lady, this helps keep my skin flawless. Very soft on skin and effective.

Good product

I don’t usually come back and leave a review after buying a product but I have to for this cleanser! My skin feels smoother and my skin tone looks more even (less red) using it. I used to have oily skin but I notice my skin now has become more like a combination skin type since I started using it which I’m happy about as my makeup stays on for the rest of the day! I even switched my foundation into a lighter weight hydrating one. I suspect the cleanser I used to use might be too drying and my skin had to produce more sebum to moisturise. Although my skin looks healthier now, I don’t think my pores got smaller. But for what the cleanser has already done, I’m very about happy it. What I did with it is that I wet my face and rub it in until it feels ‘less wet’. It will start getting more transparent and slightly less ‘glidy’ as you rub it in more. Then I’ll leave it on while I brush my teeth and wash it off when I finish. I want the product to have a few minutes to ‘do its job’ on my face. It doesn’t break me out at all. I notice I don’t have pimples as much now, but I still get hormonal acne for that time of the month and when I’m feeling stressed. I think it helps with my acne scarring a bit as well. I would recommend the cleanser to someone with oily skin considering how it changed my skin type. (Or maybe I’ve always had combination skin and I’ve just been using the wrong cleanser?) anyway, hope it helps :)
