This is a good quality and very useful tool for opening snap on backs for watches. If like me you struggled with opening a snap on watch back with a small flat head screw driver and failing, then this tool will get the job done.The watch back on my watch is totally smooth without the small cutout for a screw driver to lever out. No matter how much I tried the screw driver was useless and it could not remove the back.This tool however got the job done in seconds without any fuss. It has a unique curved head which allows you to lever out the back with ease and minimal damage. It is made from black metal and is quite weighty considering its size. The handle is also made of metal. It comes in a small plastic sheath.This tool is quite specialised and only does one job, but for the price and stress free experience you can't beat it. Recommended.

Wouldn’t be without this absolute gem of a tool. No more spending £5 or £6 to get a watch battery changed. I’ve done many types of watches now and haven’t yet found one I couldn’t get the back off. It takes a bit of practice, patience and confidence at first. Some are easier than others. You have to be careful not to stab your thumb or fingers if the tool slips but if you take your time and focus on how you hold the watch it’s very satisfying when the back lifts off.

Great tool, just take care as it is solid metal so it will scratch watches very easily, but worked perfectly otherwise

I needed to take the back off an expensive Breitling watch. A scratch or mark would have been a real issue so I shopped around for this. I carefully taped around the area to prevent slipping and then it was a simple levering motion to pop the back- it opened amazingly easy without making a mark. Worth the money for a nice little tool.

Worked for other watches but not the one I bought it specifically for which is frustrating

I already have a watch back case opening knife which I had used frequently to open watch backs for battery replacement. I had been recently trying to open the back of one of my wife's watches to replace the battery, however, the knife had no effect and the back just refused to open. I checked on Amazon and spotted this little tool which wasn't too expensive and thought I would give it a try. I was amazed with this case opener just how easily the back snapped off. A very useful tool to have handy for removing watch backs.

Not much to say about this tool, save that it did the job I wanted it for simply and efficiently. Sturdily made and doesn’t look like it will snap under pressure.I normally avoid cheap Chinese watchmaking tools as they tend to be poor quality and don’t last. This one is an exception.

Still a slight struggle to open a watch cleanly and without a scratch, but it works and its edge didn’t snap like the previous item I bought.
