Its sturdy enough not to break but at the same time the foam is soft enough not to hit too hard. Really good for toddlers to learn.

The bat and ball set is soft and breaks easily
Kids can break this set easily without any effort. It is a choking hazard if it is around kids.

Inexpensive fun item.
A light-weight bat suitable for younger kids at a realistic price. It helps with hand-eye co-ordination. The only drawback is that a set with 2 balls would be better!
