Amazon Basics 8-Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH Batteries, 2000 mAh, Recharge up to 1000x Times, Pre-Charged

Like many people I tend to use a lot of AA and AAA batteries. I've tried various manufacturers of rechargeable batteries, but read an independent review that praised these Amazon Basics batteries. I tried some and have been impressed.They seem to last well, and are usable straight out of the box, although with a slightly lower life before requiring a recharge. In fact my understanding is that often these batteries need several recharges before reaching full capacity (just what I've heard, can't confirm). According to my 'smart charger' they are full at 1.48v so almost the same as 1.5v alkaline batteries.I did have one that wouldn't automatically recharge. Normally people throw them away when that happens, however there are several internet videos that show you how to 'kick start' the battery so that it will recharge. I've used the technique on several occasions (for various makes of battery) and it works a treat. From having a seemingly 'dead' battery it recovers to become a fully usable battery again so don't chuck those apparently duff batteries away. Amazon don't like URLs in reviews so you'll have to look it up yourself.

Seems to be decent enough but didn't know rechargeable battery's are not advised to be used in quartz clocks wich is my main reason for buying them.

Great value. Easy to use & work well. Charge pretty quickly too.

I bought these rechargeable batteries and now my TV remote, wall clock, and even my cat’s laser pointer are running marathons. They've been recharged more times than my enthusiasm for Monday mornings. Still going strong—unlike my willpower near snacks. 10/10, would power my laziness again.

Got this for £.52 each great price great product I used to use Panasonic but Amazon basic is superb at price

They discharge a bit quick for my liking but for in clocks and in computer mice they are okay.
