Great sprayer
Very happy with this purchase and the product. I bought it as I have a larger Wagner sprayer which is great but it takes a lot of time to set up clean and there is a ton of waste on paint. Obviously not ideal or even used for anything smaller than a 3+ can project. So I rarely use that. I got this to fill that void and for some $40 it seemed like a good shot to take I bought this specifically for the metal spray tips which I know are critical to not only the quality, but the longevity of the tool. I figured with a new name like this replacement tips are all but unobtainable. I set the product up quickly and was spraying within 15 minutes. No priming, no waste spray went on very very evenly and it is very easy to control. The only downside is that you use the tank up very quickly, I figure that’s a balancing act vs weight - so that just is what it is. I think I’ll actually go back and order a couple more of the plastic tanks to just have on the standby. all in all if you’re considering a sprayer, you cannot go wrong with this - especially at the cost of 3 to 4 brushes. Nothing to lose.

Paid for itself in ten minutes
When I say this thing paid for itself in ten minutes, I’m not being sarcastic. I was hired to poly 25 large 6 panel raw wood doors with waterborne poly. When I estimate a job like this I figure on 1 hour per door per side between sanding and brushing out. I ordered this sprayer thinking that for the price I wouldn’t be losing out much if it did a bad job, and maybe I could do the first 2 coats with the sprayer and brush the third. It worked so well that I decided to do all 3 coats with the sprayer. I was only limited by the size of the workspace which only allowed me to spray 5 doors at a time—which literally took about 5 minutes. The majority of the work is in prep. The finish was beautiful and I was able to save the customer a lot of money while making a lot more myself. It seems very well made and I didn’t have a single issue with it.

Spray Gun
The HVLP Spray Gun has been a surprise. The sprayer is well designed and simple to assemble and operate. I have used only latex-water based paint and found it easy to clean up after use. The little instruction manual is well written and covers most considerations, but I offer these suggestions:1) Adjust the Rate of Flow (pa. 15) - practice with this by adjusting the rate of flow to the lowest setting and then adjust upward incrementally to learn how much spray you will actually get with each adjustment. I didn't read the section closely and used it on the setting it was on as received and the spray was way-too thick. As a result, I'm having to sand down some runs on my project and respray. My fault...not the sprayer's.2) If you are going to use paint from a can that is left over from another job I highly recommend that you filter the paint through a filter that is included with the sprayer. The paint in a previously opened can will collect particles and sediment, and if those contaminants are not removed they will clog the spray nozzles.3) Purely as a matter of convenience: use a sharpie-permanent marker and mark the sizes on the spray nozzles so that you can clearly see the sizes. The sizes are marked in the tiniest print on the inside and they are virtually impossible to see without a magnifying glass.Good luck...

Wow. Amazing machine.
Got this yesterday. I read some good reviews and some bad ones. I took a chance and ordered it. I'm glad I did.I ordered it because I had to paint the underside of my back deck awning. I read all the directions before proceeding. I put it all together, which was very simple to do. Diluted my paint and went to town with painting. This machine is awesome. Works very well. It's the first time I had used a sprayer like this. Well-made, heavy-duty sprayer. The parts that need cleaning come apart very easily and can be cleaned with no issues. Play around with it a little bit with water in the canister before painting. Try different nozzle settings and see what spray pattern works for you. I was not in a hurry to paint, so I tried the different nozzles on my wooden fence to see what will work for me. This little powerful machine is a game changer. I was able to paint a lot, until the wind picked up. LOL. Make sure you tape off what you don't want painted. The wind got really bad, so even the areas that were taped off got overspray. I will be using this machine for many many projects in the near future. Spraying my wood fence will be the next thing. Happy painting.

Excellent investment.
This sprayer is just perfect. I tried this after buying a $250 Greco sprayer a few years ago and the set up is night and day. With this one I was painting within 10 minutes.Finish is very decent even when I was little worried at the beginning. Waiting until it dries is key, and that’s when I realized how great it was coming out. Prep your surface well and you should be good to go.Paint container with the cap is genius. You do one coat, close the container, clean the gun (which is fairly easy to do) and wait however long for the next coat.Overspray is minimal. Play with water at the beginning to get a feel of the air valve.Comparing this price to getting a roller, a few sleeves, brushes and so forth, it’s not that much different.I’m pretty happy with it so far.

Easy to use, and I’m a newbie.
I bought this a year or so before actually getting to a couple of refinishing projects that I bought it to use on. I’ve never used a power sprayer before and was a little intimidated so I watched a few instructional/review videos and took the plunge. I’m still a newbie, but it’s been pretty easy to get the hang of it. It’s easy to clean and with each project I’ve done, I’m getting better at gauging the coverage, keeping the sprayer moving so it doesn’t drip, etc. It’s made the projects move more quickly with good results.

works great for home projects
This is exactly what I needed for some home products- painting some outdoor furniture, helping dad paint his garage (3 car garage, inside and out), and I'm planning to do my concrete basement floor and walls. Its easy to use, and using it to blow dust and some debris off before you paint is a great bonus and just makes sense.I'm glad I got it and will get another if I need one (my brothers like to borrow stuff which then never comes back home)
