Bought this to lop down a 25ft eucalyptus tree down to 10 feet due to the high winds. One battery did the job. Cut through the branches like butter. Very light to hold whilst up a ladder. Does exactly what it's meant to do..comes with protective goggle, gloves and cleaning tools. Chain easy to adjust. Just read instructions. So good, I'm now looking at a battery power washer.

Having read many reviews of the cheaper saws saying the chains kept getting loose I chose this model as this fault was not mentioned as much.It did loosen after the first ten mins of use which you would expect as things bed in and loosen up, but once the chain was tensioned all was well. Tensioning is easy, just loosen the two nuts with the tool supplied rotate the red KnobUntil you can pull the chain about 4mm from the blade and retighten the nuts. Easy . Do use the right oil, you can buy chainsaw oil which is thicker than standard oil and sticks to the chain better . It took a good few squeezes of the plastic bulb to force the oil through. I have a small chainsaw, but this will be used far more as it’s so easy to use and always starts ! Cut our old pyrocantha tree / shrub yesterday made short work of the 4” trunk which was right agains the house wall and would have been so awkward with anything else. Best of all my wife loves it as she can now does not have to wait for me to cut the heavier stuff in our large garden.It’s also 24v which gives extra grunt compared to 18v models , well worth the extra money I would say

The chain saw works well . I bought it to chop up a small tree which it did , but , I had to recharge the batteries every half hour when I was cutting the heavier branches ( 6 -8 “ dia ) . The batteries take several hours to recharge so cutting a lot of wood can take some time . The battery lasts much longer if you are only cutting small branches. It is ideal for occasional cutting of small trees and branches

I had a number of dead trees in the garden from last winter's snow, which I could not cut down with an ordinary saw. I have to say, in 30 minutes I had a mound of logs ready for my wood burner. As a woman, I was a little dubious about using a chain saw, but I needn't have worried. It comes with safety glasses and gloves. It is lightweight and easy to use. I recommend it.

I purchased this a few months ago for cutting firewood after having a full-size electric Einhell one (and its replacement) that didn't last very long at all due to motor failure. I wasn't expecting this one to last as long as it has. It's small and lightweight, easy to use, the batteries last quite a long time (you get 2 and they charge quickly) and its cut through pretty much everything I've thrown at it (quite thick tree branches of about 8 inches) and its still going. It's got an overheat cutoff which probably helps.Just a couple of small issues - the oil bulb screw cap doesn't tighten very well and will leak if you leave the chainsaw on its side, so keep it and the box upright when storing away, or drain the reservoir. The other thing is its a little fiddly to tighten the chain if it gets loose, but again this is a small issue.I'd recommend to anyone who wants to do a lot of low-medium intensity sawing and want a tool to do it cheaply.

Wanted a saw to cut my larger wood into logs. Chose this one as it had a 8 inch blade. Have used it twice so far and it's cut everything with ease. Having two batteries is a bonus so one can always be on charge. Very light to handle. Having a side handle gives me better control when cutting. Very pleased so far.

This saw looked pefect for my application and arrived earlier than expected. Fitted battery and operated saw , all good I thought. I them realised that the safety button has to be actuated manually to prevent accidentally switching the saw on again. That is to say that the power switch is live all the time unless the safety button is manually switched off! most safety buttons on electrical tools resets automaticlly.! This makes this saw praticularly dangerous in my opinion, as I had inteded to use it one handed up a ladder.I therefore did not use the saw and returned it for refund. Very grateful to Amazon for this opportunity.This saw was marked with CE which I assumed was a mark of `European Comformity` I have since found out that CE can mean `China Export`. ( you might like to Google "China Export marking"). This was a shock to me and something many folk do not know I`m sure. So BEWARE !!!!

Perfect for smaller branches. We used it for 2-4 “ limbs. Easy to use and does the job.

I always hate having to get the big chain saw out to trim branches, or worse yet the "volunteer" chinese elms from the neighbor's tree. This little saw gets right in there and takes care of them easily. It has a nice little carrying case, and was delivered promptly. I love how manuverable it is, and how little it weighs. Very happy with it!!

Bought this in hopes to accomplish some smaller jobs around the farm rather than dragging along the big chainsaws. Outstanding performance! Cuts through most woods with ease, fairly quick, nice smooth cut. Powerful. I have been cutting 6-8" in diameter trees and logs with very little resistance. Eases through underbrush and lighter twigs and branches. Arrived quickly. Well worth the money! I am going to order the back up chains even though I have had zero issues with the one sent with the unit. Superb investment. Makes life easier. Use caution, it is just like any other chainsaw and could do serious damage. Only one drawback and in all honesty it is to be expected...the battery does not last forever but it is a quick recharge. I tend to get a lot done with one charge. Highly recommend!

Came on time, works fine. Very easy to use, but of course you must be careful! Great for intermediate size pruning. This in combination with power pruning shears allows my wife to maintain brush around the yard. Not sure about durability yet but it seems quite sturdy. Be aware you must manually oil the chain.
