We bought these to store our wet, pre-portioned dog food. Very easy to use and high quality. They hold more than you think!We do struggle with determining if all the soap has been washed out after the dishwasher cycle… so we rinse again and dry in the window. However our apprehension is because we don’t want the dog food to have soap residue. When we use them for our food storage needs we don’t care and trust them directly out of the dishwasher.

after a couple months with this product i’ll say they are worth it! i think they are a good quantity, good size( fits a large sandwich), and they clean pretty easily (i hand wash mine). the only problem i had was with a bit of discoloration but that’s only from putting a heavy sauce in the bag, like any other plastic it stained. they very durable and i’d definitely buy again

I ordered these a few years ago and a friend was impressed by them so I ordered them for her. First of all no worries about filling the landfill with plastic wrap and zip lock bags. They are sturdy and have a durable seal. Love the assortment of sizes.

These bags are very strong with a good tight seal. They are eco friendly. Easy to clean reuse bags. No more zip locks.

I wouldn’t consider myself a hardcore environmentalist but I try to avoid using plastic whenever I can. Thats the reason why I started using reusable baggies in the first place. These are the second ones that I’ve tried using and I like them a lot more. The zipper seal is much easier to use for one thing, I always have trouble opening and closing the other ones that I have, I forget the brand now.I don’t buy lunch so I use these baggies to pack sandwiches and snacks. The material is nice and durable, Ive never had the food leak out in my bag. I also have a few that I use to put stuff in the fridge. Actually I even have one in the freezer. The cold doesn’t affect the baggies at all- the seal works great and the food is kept fresh. The last time I traveled, I even used the baggies to store some of my liquids. No leaking whatsoever ever. Much, much better than those flimsy ziplock bags!Keep in mind when you’re washing them that you can’t put them in the dishwasher. That should be obvious though when you look at them. I just hand wash them in the sink with warm water and let them dry. I try not to put greasy stuff in it so cleaning is easier.The bottom line is - these baggies are great. I want to say they’re a must have for anyone who’s trying to reduce their use of plastic or disposables in general- they’re one of my favorite eco-friendly gets along with my stainless straws and swedish dishcloths. Actually I’ve been trying to talk my sister into getting these bags too. Once you start using them, you can’t really go back to ziplock disposables. It takes a little more effort in terms of cleaning but they are definitely worth it in my humble opinion…and they’re not even that expensive either! You get 12 of them in a pack.

I am thankful for an alternative to single use plastic bags. I want reusable containers and bags and I'm sick of hearing about plastic micro-particles being so prevalent.I was skeptical about being able to put them in the dishwasher, but they come clean with no problem and just need a little drying when I take them out. They can also be used in place of a Styrofoam or cardboard "go box" when you have leftovers to take home from a restaurant. Then I can just throw them in the fridge and my food will stay fresh for much longer because it's so much more airtight. That's a winner, for sure.

I just received but bags yesterday it was really excited to use it, but when I open the Amazon box it smelled like I ordered something from bath & body works. I was very confused because I don't recall ordering lotion or something really really smelly, and it's not that it smelled bad, but it was a very very fragrant smell. Once I open the box I realized that it was a gallon bag that smelled like something from bath & body works. I tried washing it once with soap but I noticed the smell was still there and it was still strong so I attached a picture here of me literally soaking two of the bags in dishwash soap in the sink both inside and outside trying to soak off the smell. I really hope I can soak it off, if not these might have to go back. I would hate for my food to smell like soap.

I've been using these for about a year now and haven't had any problems with it. I usually use it for cut vegetables and place it in the fridge or freezer.
