Gentle and Effective Scar Treatment That Shows Results
This ScarAway silicone gel has been remarkably effective at improving the appearance of a surgical scar on my arm, gradually reducing both the raised texture and redness over several months of consistent use. The clear gel applies smoothly and dries to an invisible, flexible film that stays put throughout the day, even through showers and light exercise thanks to its water-resistant formula. I appreciate that it's gentle enough for daily use without causing irritation, and the small tube is perfect for targeted application on specific scars without waste. While results take patience - I didn't see significant changes until about 6-8 weeks of twice-daily application - the gradual improvement in scar color and texture has been genuinely noticeable and encouraging. The 10g tube is smaller than expected and more expensive than drugstore scar treatments, but the clinical-grade silicone formula and proven results make it worth the investment for anyone dealing with prominent scars who wants a non-invasive treatment option.

My scar is nearly invisible!
This stuff works. I'm a weirdo who researches everything a ton before purchase. I looked up studies about what works best for scars, and silicone is shown to be the most effective. I had carpal tunnel release surgery on both wrists, and didn't want big weird scars on my palms. I was much better at remembering to apply it for one hand vs the other, and you can really really tell. You probably need to apply less than you think. If it stays tacky for a long time, just blot it with a tissue and remember to use less next time. Once it's dry, you can't tell it's there at all. It works so well.

Better Than Most
I've tried a few silicone gels on my surgical scars, and this one works the best. You need just a tiny, tiny amount, so one tube will last me forever. It's easy to apply, goes on clear and stays that way. I'm not sure how it would blend if I were to apply makeup over it, but I suspect not well. It does remain a little bit sticky on the face, even when I apply the tiniest little bit. It is reducing the redness and bumpiness of my scar, I think, which is slowly flattening out and turning white.

Slow results, but a great product
We are officially on our 4th one of these. My daughter had a lot of acne scarring on her arms. We purchased this upon advice of another person. There's some pros and cons:Pros: its working. There is a noticeable difference after about 2.5 months of using this. It's not completely resolved, but looking better. There is no heavy scent and goes on smoothly. Dries down quickly and doesn't seem to stain any clothing. A little does go a long way.Cons: you dont get a ton of product. It's a slow process, but works. You will go through many of these before results are achieved. It's a good quality for an over the counter product. If your looking for quick results, this is not the product for you.Overall I give it 5 stars bc you do get a decent quality for it being OTC. If you're okay with it taking more time than a prescription.... definitely give this a try.

Easy to use with good results
I used this product for a surgical scar on my arm, and another on my throat. You receive enough for multiple uses. I washed and reused a piece 3-4 times before cutting a new piece. Great value for the cost. The color was perfect for my skin so that it was almost invisible. It was very comfortable, I’d almost forget it was there.

Miracle scar away gel
I've been using ScarAway Scar Gel for several weeks now, and I'm impressed with the results so far. The gel is clear, lightweight, and dries quickly, making it easy to use under makeup or sunscreen during the day. It's also non-greasy, which I appreciate since I have sensitive skin and dislike heavy products. Itndoes take awhile for the product to be absorbed and leaves a light shiny layer.I started using it on a post-surgical scar, applying it twice a day as recommended. After about 4 weeks, I noticed the scar starting to fade. It is now less red and feels flatter and smoother to the touch. I’ve also tried it on some older acne scars and saw moderate improvement there as well, though not as dramatic.Pros:Easy to applyDoesn't irritate sensitive skinWorks well on new scars with consistent useA little goes a long wayDoesn't smell at all which is great!Cons:Results take time—requires patience and regular useMay be less effective on older or deeper scarsSlightly pricey for the amount you getBottom line:If you're looking for a non-invasive, at-home treatment to reduce the appearance of scars, ScarAway Gel is definitely worth trying as it was also highly recommended by my surgeon. Give it time and patience and you will see improve in scar texture and color.

Safe, Effective Scar Relief
I recently had surgery, and the attending physician recommended ScarAway Silicone Scar Gel. The application of this product was simple and easy, providing a smooth, non-greasy barrier over the scar area. It provided instant relief from redness, itching, and discomfort. The gel is safe and effective for my sensitive skin and can be applied to all areas of the body. It smooths, softens, and makes the scar less visible. Once the gel has dried, makeup or sunscreen can be applied. I am very pleased and highly recommend this product. It is a winner!
