My friend said her boy wanted this game for his birthday so I got it for him and he is thrilled. He’s 6 years old and his brother also loves it.

Not overly impressed with this game.The quality isn't great and the concept seems strange.Certainly won't be playing again and I would think this game has a limited shelf life in general.

Lots of silly fun for the whole family

I've only given 4 stars because it's a christmas present for our granddaughter so don't know if it's a good game yet. It looks like fun and we'll get to know very soon

This is silly and quite fun, but there’s not really very much to this game to justify the almost £20 RRP. There are just a few pieces to the set: a very soft little pillow; a series of feather-shaped pieces with a range of tasks and topics on them to begin a duel (there’s not a huge number of these); and a little instruction leaflet.The basic gameplay is a face-off between 2 players at any one time: with a selection of topics for people to name things that match that description, and tasks to perform (these can be quite open-ended). The loser in any duel gets bashed. The pack of feathers with topics and tasks written on them is quite small, but these can be added to easily enough to extend the game.

Haven’t seen much from Tomy for a while so it was nice to get the chance to try out this family game. You pull feathers from the pillow to denote which game you will play on your turn. White feathers mean it's a word tennis round where the player and opponent take it in turns to say words that fit in the category on the feather but if you repeat an answer or even hesitate then your opponent can bash you with the pillow and that's it you are out! Pick a blue feather and then you will get an active challenge - eg to try and make your opponent laugh. If you complete the challenge you are given successfully you stay in the game and the last player left is the winner. Great fun and good for kids from about age 6-7 upwards.

I found the game boring and tedious for two adults. Bouncing words back and forth with categories that had a large amount of options, just seemed to drag on and although there was a five second rule, there was no timer supplied. A buzzer might have been useful, because keeping track with just two of us wasn't the easiest.The instructions are easy enough to understand, but there's nothing in them that states what to do with the feathers that have flown out. Do they get left? Is the next round supposed to be picked from them? Should they be put back into the pillow? Who knows? There's a QR code on the box which should have shown how the game was played. Hoping for some further clarification, I followed it, only to be taken to the front page of the Tomy website. So I typed in "Pillow Bash" and nothing came up. On the positive side, I like the pillow. It's filled well and a good size to bash someone with.
