Unruled Composition Notebook: Requested By College Students The World Over

But it isn't completely unlined and it arrived with a fold on the corner of the back. Just bad packing on the part of Amazon.

Not really a Composition notebook, just a cheap flimsy plastic cover made to look like one for the photo. Don't buy it.

Good book, arrived not time.

Plastic texture covers not paper-esque. Cheap quality paper. black spine on front and back is fake, litterally just a printed spine. 'Printed by Amazon'. Very ugly, not the thing you're looking for. DO NOT BUY

Good quality paper and a good size. Solid construction that suggest the notebook will last a very long time. Nice.

So far the book has been durable but no matter what type of stationary I used I can never right on the front cover of the book. Also the book isn't lined

This is NOT a classic composition notebook: NOT hardcover and it is perfect-bound, NOT saddle-stiched (so it will not lay flat when opened). I looked all over the page for this info, didn't find it, and hoped for the best that "classic" meant what I hoped. Should have read the reviews more carefully as I see now that others made the same observation. This will NOT work at all for my intended purpose but is not worth the time/money to return. Just glad I only bought one.

I wanted to find an unruled notebook I could use for more free-form journaling, sketching, and note taking and this is perfect. I bought three. I've always liked composition books for their size, simplicity, and durability, and since I couldn't find an "official" unruled comp book this is a very good second choice. Another reviewer complained that any and all ink/pens bleed through the paper, but I've only used pens (of varying color and ink type) in mine and I've had no issues with bleeding. The cover is not the stiff cardboard like regular comp books; it is more like a flexible card stock, but so far it's proven durable.The only minor complaint I have is that the books do not lie flat when open like a comp book does (after breaking in the spine), so sometimes when writing in it from a particular angle it's not as comfortable. Otherwise I am enjoying the books and will probably buy more once I fill them.

We were in need of a science journal to glue pressed leaves, flowers, etc. into.We are using it with crayons mostly, and for that it is great!It is also a great tool to teach children to write without relying on the lined paper that elementary teacherslike to use, which children end up over relying on, and never quite given the opportunity to develop their own handwriting skills.Will be using it for that purpose as well. Its amazing how difficult finding these unlined journals at stores like big box stores is, so for that we are grateful to amazon.

I wanted more pages. I also found the cover to be a bit slippery, which is inconvenient for taking notes on not flat surfaces.

I was looking for this EXACT product. I homeschool my kids, and wanted to have them draw a picture to summarize their daily reading assignment. I had attempted to get them to draw in a regular, lined journal. But they hated it because the lines messed up their pictures. The journals with the half-blank pages simply aren't enough room for my artistic kids. So these are just perfect for them, and they and I are so glad to have them! Plus, can't beat the price!

The paper is on the thin side, but it also means more pages in a tight space. The line at the bottom of each page for the date was a detractor at first, but is now a good thing. Originally bought as a portable art journal, we can write the date at the bottom of each to recollect it later.

Some times you want lines, but sometimes you want freedom on the page... I know that sounds totally hippy :). I like to keep all of my notes together and I do a lot of diagrams with work and I like being able to draw them out on the blank page and write my notes next to them. This is a good deal and helps me keep all of my work in the composition notebook.

Arrived as expected and quality of paper is good. Nothing out of the ordinary but worth noting that it feels nice in terms of quality.

Kindergarten mandates these n amazon is the only place I could find them- I asked for one at staples at the guys said "if it doesn't have lines it's not a composition notebook" thanks jerk - so amazon it is!!!

I like to write Kanjis and Chinese Ideograms and this is perfec. It is also wonderful for drawing or documenting your day.

This isn't really a composition notebook. The paper inside is nice, but it's always a little more difficult to write on the left side of the book. I wouldn't buy it again.

Although this appears to be similar to those well-known composition notebooks, this one only shares a similar name and cover image. In person you'll find nicer paper than most notebooks of the type, but a far flimsier cover and inferior binding.It's only worth the $5 price for lack of better unlined/unruled options. If you plan to use it for something more than notes-- sketching or drawing, for instance-- maybe it's of higher value. I, though, just want to take notes on an unruled page. And for that, I will be trying one of the other needlessly high priced options on Amazon.

The outside cover is a bit flimsy, but it's the right product. I don't know why it's so hard to find normal unlined composition books at local stores - especially when everything's super cheap before school starts. Still a little pricy for paper...

This is a terrific idea, I have been searching high and low for a notebook for math classes. The size is great and I enjoy using it. One improvement I would suggest would be to make the cover out of stiff cardboard like the old composition notebooks. The cover on this is thin and flimsy. But it is not a deal breaker, I have reordered more notebooks since this purchase because I like them very much.
