I've always trusted Life Extension products as I've taken many of their supplements over 10 years. They're formulations are well-researched and cutting edge. This one is also high-quality, but compared to other competitors springing up lately, it provides less bang for the buck. This one uses the trademarked ingredient Ceratiq from wheat and now numerous other brands are also using their own trademarked Ceramide products that have clinical studies and research to back it up.I will say that when I did use this, my forehead became buttery soft and almost oily? Surprising given that I have combination skin and the T-Zone is either normal or dry. So this definitely works! If one wants quicker or more pronounced results, a double dose would be necessary for a few months.Though I have to say that I strongly prefer "GNC's Luster & Lum Glisten" because it also has 350mg of Ceratiq but a host of other powerful skin ingredients for almost the same price. It has Ceratiq and Hyaluronic Acid for hydration, a trademarked "Red Orange Complex" to prevent environmental Damage like UV aggressors, and another trademarked ingredient using the antioxidant Lutein which has been shown to also attenuate UV damage and provide hydration. This Life Extension product only has ONE ingredient: Ceratiq.Another great formulation is "Doctor's Best Beauty Ceramides," which uses the trademarked rice ceramides, "CeraLOK" and adds in astaxanthin which is strongly UV protective as well. Environmental protection is important to mitigate damage to the deeper layers of the skin. So if Life Extension could add more hydrating and antioxidant ingredients, it would provide more value for the money. This product does what it says in addressing hydration, but skin is such a complex organ that a multi-faceted approach is smarter and provides more value.

I was having trouble with breakouts on my skin just tiny little bumps all over my arms and lotions did not help I bought the CeraV lotion, and countless others and did everything I could to get my skin back to where it was. So I was looking at some vitamins and saw this brand and so I thought I would try it and after 30 days or even before the 30 days my skin does not have any bumps anywhere on my whole body. I did purchase them again and I will purchase them as long as they are going to keep my skin looking normal and feeling soft.

I have been taking this for about a month now. I wasn't expecting to look 20 years younger, but I was hoping for a little improvement. I don't feel it hydrated at all, and saw no improvement with skin suppelness or reduction in fine lines. Other reviewers commented on the capsules not being completely full, and I agree. Mine were 3/4 full. Now I'm on the hunt for another product!

I've been taking these for about a month, I just purchased a second bottle, and I've noticed my skin has definitely smoothed out with texture, with a few beginning fine lines, and my skin's radiance has gone up significantly. For reference I'm 27 and I bought this to help combat very very early signs of aging. I also want to be transparent and say the improvement to my skin is not solely from this product, I also take a full spectrum collagen supplement, use retinol frequently, and do a peel 1-2x per week (and obviously spf50 daily) but I feel that this supplement is a really good addition to my routine and has helped my skin both at the visual level and cellular level.

The product works as the company says and I signed up as a regular subscriber. Then they sent me anempty bottle an charged full price. I was afraid to trust them again. Costs too much to take a chance. It was packaged securely as always.
