CyberPower CRA50003 19" 1U Sliding Shelf Cases, black

This steel shelf is incredibly sturdy and heavy, rating at up to 175lbs of static load capacity on the specs, but looking at it and seeing how strong it is I believe it could easily hold even more.Putting a desktop on a server rack is a waste of space but I didn't have anywhere else to put it, and it runs on its own like a server anyway so I bought this shelf, mounted it on the rack and placed the desktop on it alongside a small UPS that feeds the desktop in case of power fluctuations. I think both together don't even reach 100lbs but it's nice to know the desktop will not be on the floor.It's a rare thing to need a shelf for a server rack, but I'd highly recommend this one.

Wow... this shelf is built beautifully, and you can feel the strength of it as soon as you pull it out of the box. Nice deep shelf, thick construction and the sliding rails do not flex with weight. You can feel comfortable loading the shelf with heavy gear. Very smooth rail operation.Only con is that while the mount is 1U, the total height is greater than 1U so it actually takes up the 1U space below. If you place a unit on it that has a Rack mount face, you won't be able to attach to the corresponding mount holes. Probably not the design intention, but FYI if you planned to use this for heavy audio equipment.

Was still able to use it and it seems really sturdy - so someone must have driven over it with a truck to get this to happen.

Arrived in great shape and packaged well. Feels solid, no issues. I wanted a shelf that was not too deep, and was vented, this one is perfect.

The shelf itself seems like a decent shelf. I purchased it based on it being a sliding shelf, supporting over 100lbs, and it being a 1U shelf.When I actually did receive it (Took over 2 weeks, several days past the original estimate - that's on the seller, not the product itself), I was extremely upset to find this was not a 1U shelf. The mounting rail itself only takes up 1U, but the actual unit takes up well beyond the 1U slot I had available to use this unit.So if all you wanted were the rail slides, I guess it would work, but you probably want to use the shelf too. So plan accordingly if you decide to purchase this.Shipping box was decent, package was ok. It arrived mostly undamaged. The provided cage nuts and screws busted out of the cheap bag they were in so it was rattling away like mad while in transit. They put the bag of nuts inside the bag the shelf covered in so had more force occurred I suspect I would have some chipped paint. So far I haven't noticed any paint being chipped from it yet but I also put it right back in the box after finding out it's not 1U.Price seems to fluctuate quite a bit too, I purchased it for less than a hundred and I see it's price is now above 200. I still can't use it and will try to return it once done working with the seller VIRVENTURES (which hasn't been easy so far).
