Excellent Gaffers tape
Great tape - tears easy, but strong. Adhesive does the job but comes off clean. Must have for photo/video production

The real deal
There is a huge difference between gaffers tape and duct tape. Compared, gaff tape is strong, thick, is easy to pull up and doesn't leave any glue residue. I use this in a theater for all its intended purposes, such as making wiring safe and labeling things such as cabling and mic stands, and have found it pretty indispensable in general. I use many rolls, in different widths and colors, and find uses for them every day. Yes, it costs more, maybe even a lot more, than duct tape, but you’d be stupid not to spend the extra few dollars for this. And you’re not stupid, right?

This is nice pro gaffers tape- high adhesion with zero residue
This tape is near perfect. It dispenses well without sticking to itself too much. It tears pretty well with usually one, single thread from the edge that doesn't quite get the memo. It adheres to most surfaces while leaving them unmarked when the tape is removed. I've used it on hardwood ballroom floors, commercial carpet, epoxy-coated cement, bare steel, neoprene, fabric, plastic and foam, latex painted baseboards. In my experience, it has never damaged a surface or left a sticky residue.

Good gaffer's tape for mobile DJ and around the house use
I have bought many different brands of gaffers tape and found myself returning to this brand after a while away. There are many different uses for gaffers tape but I find myself primarily using it where the surface that I am affixing it to is delicate and/or the tape will be there for a while and I don't want tape residue.Pros: Tears easily, thick enough to not rip when disturbed or scuffed, leaves no tape residue (for three days, longer depending on the surface)Cons: Price (seemingly expensive compared to other brands), not as strong as I would sometimes desire, heavy (a roll is almost 1 pound)Overall: this is one of the best gaffer's tape you can get at this time so I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a product like this.

Only gaffer's tape I will trust
This tape is the only kind I will ever purchase. The issue with cheaper gaffer's tape is it leaves a sticky residue on floors and cables if you leave it installed for extended periods of time. Especially with humidity, the adhesion turns into gummy white residue. This tape is THE solution you are looking for. I use it for all kinds of audio work (school music teacher) to prevent safety hazards with cabling running the length of the stage. It's pretty durable, but still easy to remove.I even prop up a cloth projector screen with it. Yes, it falls down regularly, but amazingly, the adhesion still works after months of use. I just stick it back up and it stays up the length of the day, til the next morning.
