I purchased this for my 9 year old and he loves it. It is made out of sturdy material. It does not bend or break which is great because my son has thrown his books around a lot. The glow in the dark paint or glue that is used does work better when put to a light every once in a while but it has an absolutely great shine. The crystal ball is not to heavy for the chain and is is very clear and see through. Not at all cheep looking. The hooking part at the top, where the chain is, loops around the spine of hard cover thick books as well as soft cover thin books. I have recommended this purchase to several people and one friend told me her daughter loved it too. Definitely worth the purchase. 😊.

Nice and sturdy, it's well cast, no sharp edges. The glowing is super cute, my boyfriend loves it for his books. It is a smidge thick but I'll sacrifice that for how sturdy and not cheap this bookmark feels. Love it!
