Astrology: A Guide to Understanding Your Birth Chart (Hay House Basics) Kindle Edition

I first want to emphasize that I originally found this book as a pdf FREE download. I gleaned a lot from that, but was unable to re-access it, not because of anything the author did... Mercury is in retrograde and my iPad wouldn't save it. I was unable to access it from my computer, so I decided to purchase it in order to support the author. I am a current student with an actual teacher in astrology, but oh my goodness! This book helped me synthesize what I've been learning. She takes you step by step through the process of understanding your chart. First by explaining the signs , the planets and houses... Yes most books do this in some fashion, but I was able to compile my learning in a comprehensive manner that helped me to understand how although I'm a Leo, my overriding water signs explains why I don't identify with my sun sign and how I may have several fixed planet/sign/house combos, but they are in a receptive state, resulting in a less stubborn pattern than would otherwise suspect. This book is very systematically written, but in a very cohesive manner, resulting in a very holistic understanding of what is happening in my chart. I can't say enough good things about this book. I think it is a must have for any newbie on the subject. She not only explains the basics, but also gets into aspects and I was able to figure out the best way to interpret a chart - anyone's chart, by going through the motions set out in this book. Do not hesitate. It is worth every cent! Thank you Yasmin for bringing astrology to life for me. 💖

Amazing book! Full of information, but not overwhelming! I also recommend Yasmine's Moonology book as a great companion piece.

Not just a simple astrology book got alot of details

This book packs so much information in it about how to read your chart! I would highly recommend this as a great book for a beginner, and it is also a good source for more experienced astrologers.

This book really helps break down your birth chart in a simple and easy way. I had a chart but for years I never really looked beyond my sign. This gives a step by step guide that helped me realize how much of my personality is explained Highly recommend!!
