Solid Mouse Without A Big Name Price
Mouse is very comfortable and functional. The buttons on the side are perfect for MMO or FPS games. The thumb rest is just the right height to actuate the buttons and prevent having to hover. Colors are nice and bright and the battery life seems good. The mouse also has slight checkering to keep the fingers from slipping. All in all great mouse and a affordable price

Good Mouse
Purpose:The reason that I originally bought this mouse was for gaming. And on that front the mouse has been great. Having all of those side keys on the single mouse has made gaming a lot easier. Now, I tend to use those keys while also using the computer for non gaming relater purposes. How the mouse feels in the hand:I think this comes down to everyone's hand size but,for me the mouse is really comfortable and can use it to play games or work for many hours and not have an issue. The only thing I am not fond of on this topic is that at the top there is two types of finishes. Most of the mouse is this sandy plastic which feels really nice. put then there is this little smooth section right at the top. Definitely not a fan of that.Side Keys:The side keys was the main reason that I purchased this mouse. Just having the ability to 12 additional keys on a mouse is great. And there is also an additional key on the right side of the right clicker. Just from looking at the pictures I thought that the keys were going to be too small when purchasing the mouse but, the are actually quite large and I am able to use all of them while gaming. However, it does take a little getting used to and memorizing where all the keys on the mouse are with your hand from numbers 1-2. Again as these side keys were the main reason that I purchased the mouse, and I have been very happy with it.Battery:Battery lasts a fairly long time, and you can just charge it and use it at the same time. I don't know how many hours it actually lasts but seems long enough. Just keep in mind that while charging the mouse and using it does add a little bit of extra weight but should be an issue. Also keep in mind that battery drain rate will vary if you leave it on with the lights or turn them off while using the mouse. This is easily done on the bottom of the mouse where there is an option to turn ON or turn ON With Lights.Software:The software is really easy to use. It is really easy to assign the mouse keys to any key you want them to be. You can also create multiple key binding lists for differing purposes. And you can record macros and have a list of them as well. You are also able to see how much battery you have left as well. And you can configure the lighting on the mouse and change the speed settings. I personally never have the lights on the mouse on.Conclusion:I have had this mouse for a little over three months now and it has been great. As stated above I bought it because of the side Keys and because it was wireless. I'am not a fan of a wired mouse. So far the mouse has been working great. The keys are responsive when clicking them and you can change the DPI of the mouse depending on what your are doing and what game you are playing. Which the two arrows at the top of the mouse let you change the DPI easily. Personally I think this is a great product and would buy it again.

Excellent value for the feature set
The RGB quality is ok, and is fairly bright even on the lowest notch. I intend to use it primarily with no lighting, so a helpful and appreciated feature on this mouse is the 3-position on/off/on switch - there's ON (with LED), OFF, and ON (without LED).You can customize the light color using full-range RGB (0..255 each for red, green, blue) for a supposed 16 million-something colors - but I doubt you'd be able to actually discern more than a couple hundred colors. The difference between dark & light shades is a very minor brightness change. For example, comparing blue=25 vs blue=255 should be like comparing a stick candle vs LED brightness -- but it's more like comparing a flashlight w/ dying batteries vs the same flashlight w/ new batteries. The movement speed of the mouse can be toggled between 5 customizable DPI levels, which you can set from 100 (which is basically "drag the mouse across your whole desk to move half an inch") to 16000 (aka "put your hand on the mouse to teleport the cursor across the screen"). When the software is running, you get a popup that reminds you which DPI level you've just changed to. You can also see the current DPI preset based on the number of red lights that are on, below the middle button. One very random and strange limitation is that the mouse refuses to work on jeans. It works 100% fine on a t-shirt and a sofa cover, as well as multiple different patterned & solid-color desk surfaces. But on my jeans it just doesn't move at all.A few random negatives for this mouse that collectively drop it to 4 stars:- The requirement to use the included wireless adapter, rather than supporting standard Bluetooth, means you can't see the battery status natively like you would if it were connected via bluetooth. The lack of a charging light on the mouse itself means you are limited to checking the battery level from within the UTech Venus software.- The manual explicitly recommends to NOT charge this via wall adapter because of potential damage to the mouse's internals... that's not inspiring a whole lot of confidence in the mouse's circuitry.- The software's UI does not scale for 4K, so you may need to break out the magnifier, or get up real close to the screen, to be able to read the microscopic text on a 4K display.Neutral observations:| The DPI switch buttons, that will probably see very little use, have a nice mechanical click to them; meanwhile, the side buttons that will see far more usage have a soft tactile bump - personally I would have preferred these switches being flipped the other way around, with the side keys having the nice crispy click.| Something that will take getting used to is navigating the side buttons without continually re-centering your thumb. The tactile ridge on the #5 and #8 keys is a little too close to the edge of the buttons to be useful. You can barely even tell the ridges are there cause they just feel like the edge of the button. Muscle memory will probably compensate for this with more usage, but it's still worth mentioning.
