I bought a new car that didn't include a jack. Rather than rely on the compressor/FixAFlat that came in its place, I wanted a real jack and spare. I saw a bunch of people complaining it wasn't sturdy enough. Well, I had a flat recently and got a chance to try it out. It passed with flying colors.

It's not that easy to use, it works and does the job it's intended to do however, the rod that you have to use pops off while cranking it, they need to make a better design so it can crank and not fall off, seems like the hook doesn't stay in place, not enough grip..but it works if you are patient.

I bought this little scissor jack to jack up the tail of my airplane to work on the tail wheel. Works beautifully and because it’s lightweight and compact I find myself using it for all kinds of projects where leverage is needed. Of course, my friends are starting to ask to borrow too. May have to buy another.

It's easy to use.

It's hard to use, the screw mechanism is more aggressive than other scissor jacks so while it goes up quicker it's hard on your arm. That part I could live with but the 1 star review comes from the fact that it failed completely, dropped a vehicle, and completely self destructed. I bought this because it was from a name brand that's been around quite a while but this thing proved to be a hunk of junk that failed in less than 2 months. It was only used twice.
