One of the butt connectors allowed me to fix a major electrical issue with my work truck. The alternator began giving issues in which the check engine light was showing my voltage was exceeding 14.8 volts while running. This was very bad as any vehicle pushing max voltage means the battery is going to get damaged from overcharge. After noticing the issue, I found out that the alternator has a middle line connection called the sense wire and it was responsible for keeping stable voltage but requires the connection from it to the main 12V positive terminal. All vehicles already have a harness with this but the possibility of a chafed or damaged line from the engine bay to the battery was a possibility. Without wasting anymore time looking for the issue, I can a direct line to the 12V and used a butt connector to join the connection. It worked and has held on after 3 months and counting. This kit saved me and still contains many extra pieces for future projects.

What a great assortment! I should have got more of them. I needed a lot of the big yellows and I needed them to really shrink down. And these do. They do exactly what you expect them to do and you can't crimp through the plastic so easily so you're pretty much guaranteed a waterproof connection. I would stock up or get the bigger set.

Work good in crimping and heat shrink seal very tight. Very good arrangement of sizes also. And the colors are nice see thru not to bright. Like the red and bright blues of other brands,. All in all a great product.

Excellent combination of connectors. Fork, ring, and butt connectors. Multiple gauges and plenty of options for just about anything for small electronics repair. I used this to repair a salt cell for my pool.

Looks like eyelets for wiring. Time saving.. didn't stop drinking beer to get them they came to the house. Functionality they work.Melts resistance? I mean I heated it up to melts the plastic to the wire and it's not on fire right now so that's pretty cool. Wire safety i have no idea what that means. Look? It looks like stuff you need for wires. Connection quality? It sends electricity to what I need electricity sent to.
