Well build, works like a charm with my small Ryobi bench grinder.
I bought this for my small Ryobi bench grinder, which I use to sharpen mini lathe and small bench tools; it works perfectly with it. The petal is well-build and has a strong cord. I like the length of the cord so I don't have so much extra needless cord laying around. Of course, if you power plug is far away, you might need something with a longer cord. The ability to turn the grinder on and off with your foot, and having both hands free to hold my mini lathe tools, allows me to turn this bench grinder into a low speed grinder. This is the hack I thought might work and it does, at least for my purposes. My little shop has no room to spare, and I don't have the space for a variable speed, or low speed grinder. Even the smallest oneds are always bigger than single speed grinders. Plus I have build this one in and set it up with the (amazing) Peachtree replacement tool rests, and don't feel like starting over.I hold my foot on the petal for just a few seconds, then remove it, and do this off and on so the wheel never gets to the high speed of around 3000rmp.I was deciding between this foot petal or installing a dimmer switch. Since I don't use this grinder for heavy grinding, and really not that often, a dimmer switch might also be a good option, but it is not great for the motor, and can kill it over time. Not sure how turning a grinder on and off effects its longevity either, but in the end, this was only a $60 grinder. And I love the hands-free operation this foot petal allows.PS.My foot petal's label says "15 amp".

Better then Expected!
I purchased this WEN pedal to use with my Yohama 6.5 ton electric log splitter, I am very impressed and so happy I purchased it, It has made splitting firewood so much safer, the splitting operation far more efficient and now I always have one hand free instead of one hand pushing the start button and the other hand pushing the control lever. My last Electric Log Splitter that was purchased aprox 10 Years ago from AMAZON, was a one hand operation. This pedal is extremely well built, a steel case and body not plastic, real rubber ribbed push pad on top to prevent foot slippage. Depressing the pedal very lightly throws on the power, no need to fully depress. The power is quickly cut off as soon as you release it. It says, this pedal can be used with any tools running 110-120 volts up to 15 amps capacity, So easy to plug in and use. Totaly Recomend this Product from WEN.

Works great and does the job as an on/off switch.
These work quite well and is a very straight forward device. It is a momentary switch, press to turn on and press again to turn off. It isn't a variable foot switch so it will either be on or off. For the price though, it is worth it and does pretty much the same thing as much more expensive products in this category and the built quality is decent and better than you would expect for this price point. Pair tis with a device that has a variable speed knob and you'll have an easy way to control your device.

Sturdy, crisp, solid.
Sturdy construction, nice tactile and audible feedback. Works perfectly. An excellent addition to my portable bandsaw setup. Pair this with a table to give you two hands to work with. Wish the cord was a little longer.

Good little foot pedal
I use this foot pedal daily with a fume extractor for my soldering projects. It responds very well when pressed, and the grips work effectively whether I'm wearing socks or not. It's easy to plug into any device that needs to be turned on and off. The price is great, and the build quality is impressive too.

Great product.
This makes 2 of these I have purchased, one for a table saw/vacuum set up the other for a scroll saw/vacuum set up. Both work perfectly. I recommend this product.

sturdy and efficient
Bought it to replace the flimsy one that came with my flex-shaft mini grinder. This model is solidly built, compact, and does the job, a lot of bang for the buck.
