Works flawlessly
This universal controller works flawlessly and opens both of my garage door openers that were different brands and I can program each one with a different code and it worked on the first try. The directions were easy and I am extremely pleased. I highly recommend this product it even came with a battery already loaded

Easy to program
Very easy to program. Much easier than home link. Excellent range.

LASTED 3 WEEKS THEN DIED
Worked fine for 3 weeks. Then, after trying to open the garage door, it failed and simply sounded an uninterrupted tone. No buttons worked. The tone could only be stopped by removing the battery. Tried a fresh battery, which did not fix the problem. Was able to get a refund from Amazon. BE CAUTIOUS - THE RETURN PERIOD IS ONLY 30 DAYS.I ordered a Lift Master brand name keypad and it is far more sturdy than this cheap one. It also has a 1 year warranty.

Retest
The 1st one was defective and email response long pasted, but I ordered another bc nothing that's manmade is 100%. 2nd one works at this moment properly as of now. I don't why both were sent with battery already connected but I would start testing what happens when it's removed when installing as they recommended it before setup.

This key pad worked out great and was fairly easy to program and install.

Instructions are comprehensive. Read th first section, most openers need the 07 code.Good quality and even comes with a 9V battery.
