My biker shorts are always riding up at the gym so I bought this and sewed it around the inside edge of each leg. What a difference! Now any cute biker shorts can be worn for high intensity workouts and I'm not tugging them down after each squat or bout on the rower.

I recently picked up this elastic ribbon for a DIY project, hoping it would provide the non-slip grip I needed. The silicone backing does offer some grip, which is helpful for certain applications. However, I found that the elasticity and overall strength of the ribbon weren’t quite up to par for more demanding tasks.While it’s suitable for lightweight projects, such as crafting or adding grip to clothing items, it didn’t hold up well when I tried to use it for more heavy-duty purposes. The elasticity seemed to wear out quickly, and the ribbon didn’t maintain its shape under tension.Additionally, the silicone backing, while initially effective, began to lose its grip after some use. This made it less reliable for projects where a strong, lasting hold is essential.Overall, this elastic ribbon is a decent choice for light-duty applications where high strength and durability aren’t critical. However, if you’re planning to use it for more robust projects, you might want to consider a more heavy-duty alternative.

This is super easy to sew or pin into a whatever fabric you need to make non slip! Great for sewing into leggings, hats that are too big, furniture, etc…

Good for wig making

Wish this were on a thin fabric, not elastic. That's why 3 stars. I needed to sew into corset bra and straps to keep things in place. Breasts larger than an" A " cup won't stay in the cup part of the corset, and will slip down out of that part, even if tightly closed. I'm dancing in my corsets, have at least a "C" cup, so I came up with idea of putting silicone along the bottom on the cups and on the straps. It works, but I don't need the elastic. Again, I want a product that does not seem to exist. This worked, but cost me more money and was more difficult to do with heavy elastic.

Worked great for my application.
