must have
my 10 month old is probably still small but she is not able to escape at all! She seems comfortably and she looks great with it! Easy to use to tighten a little. She tries to bite on the leash but the quality is too good!

A little big even though my kitten is about 4 months old
The media could not be loaded. I got the XXS for my kitten Daphne and it's as tight as it can be tightened and the ends just about drag on the ground, which I don't love. Daphne can still slip out of it with the leash on when she backs away from me so I definitely won't be taking her out of the house for awhile until she's close to full grown (she's about 60% of her adult size) since I can't really control her.I will say it's good training to at least get her used to having a harness on. I put it on her for about 20 minutes at a time while I'm monitoring her to make sure she doesn't accidentally strangle herself. She hates it, as you can see in the video, but I found if I put it on her and then play with her, she sorta forgets about it.I love the color... it's really pretty on a diluted torti... My little Daphne is a tomboy/hillbilly so I'm trying to girl her up a little bit.Overall, the harness and leash seem like it will hold up for awhile and she can probably keep it through adulthood. I would buy again! I just wish they had a smaller size for her kitten months.I recommend!

Freedom for my babygirl
My kitten was jealous of her dog siblings being able to go out and about. They never want to loose her so I had to figure out a way to allow her to have a fulfilling life. Then I found this harness! We love it!!

The only harness I trust to keep my cat safely contained.
Look, sure. All cats are escape artists. But I have never ever been so confident in a harness. It's true, it's so efficient that it's hard to adjust once it's on your kitty. But that to me is ultimately a plus because it gives me peace of mind. It's the neck collar that is trickiest. You have to expand it so it can get around their head, but then you have to tighten it so it stays put. And yes, it's a tricky mechanism that takes time. Meanwhile, your cat is like, "get off me!"But it's worth the struggle. My cat is extremely flinchy. Not the bravest. And yet, she really really wants to go out into our apartment courtyard. I just make sure all the exits are closed and put her in the harness and we have a good time walking around and smelling the smells.I can't speak to taking your cat out on walks on a trail or etc. because that's not a risk I'd ever take with my cat. No shade. I just mean, my cat isn't that brave and would probably jump at a twig breaking and freak out and although I trust this harness to keep her locked in, it's just not worth the risk.

It runs small
The thing I like the best was the color it was cute. Unfortunately it did not fit my cat. I could not get her head through the collar. There is no buckles to open that part up and has to be slid over their heads. I didn’t notice that when I ordered it. My cat doesn’t like to have it put over her head so I should have ordered the small instead. It may have been to big around her body though. I missed the Amazon Return day by 2 days being out of state on a trip at that time. I wish I would have exchanged it for the next size up cause I think she would really enjoy being able to go outside. I don’t let them out at all to many predators where I live in the forest. If you at the edge of the size I would order the larger one unless you have a very calm cat.

Not exactly escape proof
We measured neck and chest and ordered the XXS. It seemed to fit perfectly and Willow didn't object to having it on. We don't want her outside roaming by herself so we thought we had the perfect solution. Took her in our backyard and extended the leash so she could explore. As we were working, we looked up and Willow was at the backdoor waiting to go in. NO HARNESS! Somehow she slipped out of it and headed where it was cooler. Still like the harness, but we will definitely keep a closer eye on her.

Cute, but be careful!
Super cute! My cat runs to the door as soon as I put it on him. He can slip out if he pulls backwards while I am holding the leash. When this happens, just be careful not to let your cat create tension but holding the leash tightly while they try to pull backwards. Once your cat understand the concept, it will all work out! Love the color!!
