Good design - good value!
Good design - good value. Heavy enough to hold up to wind, rain and snow. You will need to drill your own clearance holes for the mounting screws but it is designed with a groove on the face of the extrusion that is 1/4" down from the top - exactly where you'll need to drill. Good design! Paid $40 for 2 - each 52" long. So, $20 each is a good value.

Easy fix for intruding water
Water was leaking into my garage from a back door entrance. I bought a simple plastic strip and tacked it to the bottom of the door. And I installed this cap to direct most of the water away from the top of the door. Voila! Problem solved. Both installations were quick and easy and relatively inexpensive.

well made product
Good product worked well for the application I needed // back door with 2 awkward roof line coming together over top of it, making for a lot of run off on the door // helped fix the problem

Made the perfect finish for my woodshop doors
These aluminum drip cap are sturdy and just the right thickness to last for years. I used these over a set of rolling barn doors I made from refinished 110 year old farmhouse doors. Painted them matte black to match the barn door rollers and railing and installed them just above the rollers to aid in keeping rain away from the inside of the doors.

Did the trick over a sliding barn door
Had some work done on my barn, including a new sliding barn door. I noticed after a rain storm, that some water had dripped behind the sliding door and onto the barn floor. Adding these did the trick. There wasn't quite enough clearance to make it so the drip cap extended beyond the sliding door. So I attached a 2x2 to the barn and then the drip cap to the 2x2.The drip cap does not come with pre-drilled holes, but it was easy to drill.I might have given it 5 stars if there was an option with more clearance, so I won't need the 2x2. I purchased the option of 2 sections covering about 104", which was a little more than the width of the door. It might have been nice if it was a single larger segment, although I got them as close together as I could and added some caulk for good measure.
