Also, while it works great for roots, it’s not meant for full-head coverage. Still, for quick and convenient gray coverage, this kit is reliable, easy to use, and delivers consistent results every time.

I followed the directions exactly and had good results. It didnt ash out fairly fast. I washbmy hair every 4/5 days so after a few weeks I was needing to dye my roots again. With the second box I left it on for around 20 min, so double of what the box says. The results were amazing! It makes your hair very shiny, covers gray and is very easy to apply because of the applicator. This time I will count how many washes it can go through before fading to gray again. For the price, even if I have to reapply every 4 weeks, I am ok with that because of how healthy it makes my hair look and feel.

Perfect for in between dying whole head . Covers down the center of top of head & the sides that grey first. Great product & easy to use .

I love this root color for a quick fix. I was away from home and noticed a grays around the fame of my face and side part. I’m vain. I used as directed but left on for additional 10 minutes because I have resistant grays. Use with cation if u have sensitive scalp or with any other dye. Do a test area first. As I did have residue of the dye on my ears. I used neutrogena facial wipes worked great. I also put a little Aquaphor or Vaseline around my hairline and ears so no stain of hair color. I left off 1 star because it’s only lasted 2 hair washes. This might just be my experience. Being the cost of root color in a Salon I would use this product in a pinch or between Salon visits.

My hairstylist was out of town and I needed my roots quickly fixed. On a whim I thought I would try this and it came through exactly perfectly. I was so shocked at how it blended with my color and only took a few minutes. This is amazing!!!

Admittedly, I’m getting a bit tired of coloring the greys but not ready to let them take over. I’ve used powder covers that were ok at best and crayon and gel type sticks that worked better but left my hair crunchy or clumpy. This however was amazing stuff.I used the brush attachment and started parting like I would for regular touch ups. It was so easy to use and way less mess. I have dark hair and at first I thought the color was turning purple but in the end, it exactly matched my dark hair and I couldn’t have been more excited to see no staining in my skin.I can honestly see myself using this way more often than a full box and have already bought two more. Coloring may still take time but this cut that down with really great coverage which seems to be lasting much longer than my regular coloring brand. Super impressed!!

It was so hard to review this. The product, itself, is excellent! It's hardly messy and quite simple to use. And the color really takes hold in 10 minutes; what they say, and not double the time like with some other products. My issue, however, is that it is much darker than it claims. It doesn't even match the box color. It is more like a very dark brown. If it were true to its color, I would have given it 5 stars, but it is very far off of the claimed color.

I've been dyeing my graying hair for many years now, and the most annoying part is that the gray (or, more accurately, white) always grows out first right up front, next to my eyes, where it makes my whole face look washed out. And the part that grows in first is definitely what they call "resistant grays": it doesn't take my regular hair color (Madison Reed) easily, and it's hard to color it down to the roots without dyeing half my face, too. Even right after I've dyed it, those tufts in front look paler than the rest.But this product? Solved the issue! It gives VERY thorough coverage, VERY fast; it blends in perfectly with my all-over color; and it doesn't fade over the coming weeks. Of course, it smells much more intensely of ammonia than I'm used to, too, but that's the price you pay for a quick application of a lot of pigment, I guess.Anyway, thanks, fellow Amazon reviewers! I bought this based on your fervent recommendations, and you 100% did not let me down.
