Returned.
Was the wrong size for me. Arm was not long enough. returned it. Still need one. Would have worked fine.

Didn't last long
The arm pivot broke within minutes. I did hit the arm to straighten it so it was partly my fault, but the arm needs to fit perfectly or it may not last.

I couldn't find exact replacement for failed hinge on my generic attic stairs. These were close. I now have a spring that is too long. Frustrating but fixable.
