Great for baking
This is a great brown sugar substitute. I use it for cakes and cookies, where it gives a richer flavour that combines well with vanilla with no aftertaste. Creams easily with butter. The twin pack is fair value, especially if making larger fruit cakes or batch baking.

Great sugar replacement
Use this all the time as a sugar replacement, I particularly like this soft brown ‘sugar’ as it has a nice fudgy taste.

Excellent sweetener
As far as sweeteners go, this is excellent. Looks like Demerara sugar and tastes like it too

Good alternative to brown sugar, slightly price though
Not as sweet tasting as actual brown sugar but a good close approximation, is somewhat expensive.

Definitely recommended!
I have happily cut down on added sugar. In fact I have almost eliminated it from my diet! Once you have ‘cottoned on’ to the amount of sugar we manage to consume in so many products, it is quite concerning. This is for me the most convincing substitute that I have found and is so good when you require that touch of sweetness. This particular product, out of a range, is slightly less sweet, spoon for spoon than sugar. It looks like a type of granulated Demerara. There is no after taste and it can be used in porridge, cakes, drinks etc. etc.Definitely recommended!

Love using this in Baking.
Very good in baking, but my most favourite use is in making Chai. For baking I use it in a 2:1 ratio with something like stevia which reduces in any cooling effect to virtually zero.
