Quiet and cool fan.
I love this fan. It does blow cool air and air find it an answer to my prayers.Hu by keeps the A/C at 76. I am.hit blooded he is cold blooded. This has been s struggle for us. Now that I have this fan... he can put the AC at whatever makes him happy. This fan which is about 4 feet tall and pretty slender puts out a breeze. It has 12 levels but I am satisfied at level 3 98% of the time. Level 2 is just as good on cooler days. The sound is quiet up to about 7/8 snd even then it's a soothing white noise. I actually like the sound. It's not noisy by any means.I have the fan approximately 15 feet away from me and at level 2/3, I get a good breeze to cool me off. This is worth every penny. I am finally looking forward to summer. It's hit 80s a few times already.

Love the fan. Blows cold air. Love how adjustable it is. Definitely worth buying. It's very quiet and blows air hard. Easy to use.

Frustrating.
I bought the updated version but not the smart version. At the time the updated version used was the same price as the original. I went for it. I don't regret buying it by any means, however, there are certain aspects on this fan that drive me batty. I have noticed in my roommates room where he bought the original new my issues don't seem to exist so perhaps it's my refurbished/used model that's the issue.Pros: Cools the room fantastically. Strong wind, almost dead silent unless on full blast and overall a great buy. It's super sturdy and SEEMS easy to use.Cons: functionality is an issue. The remote to control the fan only works when the face of the fan is pointed directly at you. When it turns away even a bit the remote is useless. The buttons on top of the fan are incredibly sensitive and get accidentally touched all the time. In fact my boyfriend got snappy with our son when he touched the button and turned it on causing it to turn unexpectedly. I then told him actually it's really really easy to accidentally do that. Less than a few minutes later he accidentally did it himself and just temporarily relocated the fan for simplicity. My biggest qualm with the fan is the dang settings. There is a high functioning super cool mode but that mode makes the LEDs stay on. You must press night mode to turn them off. However. Night mode is the most infuriating thing. It automatically turns down the speed AND auto turns on oscillate when your freaking trying to sleep. So I have to wake up about 3 times a night to find the remote wait for the fan to face me again. Turn off oscillate. Then turn up the speed again over and over. I've tried stopping it by pressing the timer button and turning off the timer. That doesn't fix it.I'm still trying to remedy this issue. However I am struggling because it doesn't do it or I don't hold still long enough to catch it happening in the daytime. I came close once but ran to the store and when I came back it had done it in that time. It's really random and very well might be a device issue and the reason this fan was returned. It's not really made me want to return it. That's a lot of trouble. But the thought has crossed my mind. I wish I had just bought it new for 30$ more. It would have been worth it if this oscillator issue wasn't occurring. It really is maddening.

Thoughtful Design
I’ve had this fan for about 2 wks. I chose the expanded model with 12 fan speeds and am glad I did. It satisfies all the air movement needs and is super quiet, even on high. The nighttime setting turns off all of the lights and I use it most of the time. The temp gauge doesn’t work unless nighttime setting is off (display is lit) and ocillate is activated. The temp is only displayed briefly, so selecting and deselecting oscillate will re-display temp (again, nighttime mode needs to be off). That took some figuring out. Some reviews mentioned concern with stability. It seems stable enough. I have active pets and have had zero issues. I also placed it out of the line of traffic, just in case. It has some features (timer, auto mode) that I haven’t used much yet, but will. The remote clinches the deal. I use it almost exclusively. Levoit seems to do a good job integrating quality, function, performance and design. I also have their air purifier, which is equally well designed. Time will tell as to reliability/longevity. BTW, the blowing air extends about 15 ft on the highest speed.

Levoit Corrected Amazon’s Mistake
I have several Levoit products and love their reliability so I try to stick with brands that I trust. This go around I found a Levoit used-like new tower fan on Amazon that was supposed be be in perfect condition and usually these items come as so, but not this one. It was returned by a customer who had broken the unit by appearing to have knocked it over while plugged in. It had multiple points of damage with the plug prongs bent which can cause an electrical fire or plug failure, scratches on top and back of unit and won’t attach to the base to stand up and swivel as well as missing the remote and instructions. Amazon didn’t want to make THEIR mistake right from the start saying they can’t do anything accept take the return back and told me to call Levoit to see what they can do. After starting the warranty process with Levoit and some back and forth since this wasn’t a typical warranty claim for them they ended up telling me they were shipping me a brand new unit with zero damage and all parts in tact. This was unexpected as the unit being sent how it was had nothing to do with them or the quality of their products. For Levoit to make this right shows so much about the values that the company stands on. I will continue being a long lasting customer of Levoit products. Now for the size of the unit, it stands tall which I like. This thing is also SO QUIET even on high. It did have great power even on lower settings and not noticeable and blows cool air vs some fans blowing just the air as it is. It’s not an air conditioner cool, but it is cooler than the air it takes in. There are several settings as well. Overall this unit has great value for the money and I know the new unit will last for a long time as I properly care for my items.
