Problem solved
Perfect solution to get our dog onto and down from the work surface where I groom her. We did need to adjust one of the step supports as the step was catching on folding it down .

Not suitable for a dachshund
I have returned these steps because my mini dachshund refused to use them. I needed some high steps for him to get up on to my old fashioned bedstead which is quite a lot higher than a divan bed. I cannot fault the steps, they are sturdy and well made, if used as a ramp the incline is very steep for a small dog like a dachshund, they are no doubt more suitable for a large dog.

Really Sturdy
Our dog is really confident using these steps. He’s 9.5 years old now, and jumping in and out of an SUV at his age has become quite difficult for him. He has arthritis in his hind legs, so the pressure this puts on his joints - especially when jumping out of the car, must be quite painful for him.These steps are great, they are nice and steady, and the carpet on the steps doesn’t move at all. The only fault I can find with these, is the lack of rubber protectors on the bottom of the legs, as these will get damaged over time. part from that, I would highly recommend them.
