Pricey, but highly recommend!
As per normal, we did a LOT of research before purchasing the Eufy S3 Pro cameras (and base station). Our first priority was a security camera system that worked with Apple HomeKit, but because video quality is reduced from 4K (Eufy) to 1080P (Apple HomeKit) we are only using the Eufy app. (Apple really needs to step up their game on quality of videos for secure storage!)Other priorities were: solar-powered, excellent night vision, and NO monthly fees for video storage. The Eufy S3 Pro cameras excel in all of these! Our cameras have been installed for over two weeks now, and they are constantly at 100% of battery power, due to where we had them installed. One camera is installed on the north side of our house, and we can use the additional solar panel that came with this package if that camera begins to not get enough sunshine per day to keep it fully charged. The night vision options are awesome...without needing the camera to turn on a spotlight of any kind. And, not having to pay a monthly fee for video storage is also awesome. The base station will hold 16GB of videos, but we delete uninportant videos daily, so we will never reach that 16GB!The Eufy app is pretty damn good, including allowing us to turn off sound for notifications when there is a lot of activity on any given day due to contractors, etc. But, we don't like that it doesn't tell us a percentage of battery power in numbers, instead of just in a visual.A negative is the ability to easily weed out motions that should not be detected, as some of these are still in Beta mode. This means that we receive motion notifictions when people/birds/airplanes cast a shadow in our activity zones.Sound quality isn't the best, but we haven't really explored tweaking this yet.We do love being able to see a live video of the entire camera view (and not just the activity zone), and creating a photo of that exact event, and having it saved to our iPhone photo library!Other negatives: the 130 degree viewing field; and not having some installation method that would deter theft of these cameras. That said, there is a theft-deterent setting within the app that you don't want to activate if you are installing/touching one these cameras, but this setting will alert you if anyone tries to steal on of your cameras once they are installed. While we have a couple of negative comments, we still give this camera system a five-star rating, and are, overall, very happy with it!

Excellent DIY security system
I wanted some security cameras to monitor my home and irrigation system when away. I had the Eufy doorbell camera for about 2 years and it worked perfectly over that time so I looked at their security cameras, plus I didn’t need or want a subscription type service. Among their many offerings, I chose the eufyCam S3 Pro 3-cam kit and have been very pleased. It’s only been a few weeks, so we’ll see as time goes on. The kit arrive very quickly and well packaged. Instructions were brief but clear, plus there are many YouTube videos available. The set up and installation was simple and straightforward. Everything worked just as outlined in the instructions, which frankly I was pleasantly surprised. I usually encounter at least one glitch with this type of thing, but there were no problems or unexpected issues. All components appeared to be of high quality. The performance of the cameras has been just as advertised. The hardest part for me was finding suitable locations to mount the cameras so that they covered my desired viewing sites and getting sufficient sunlight to make use of the integrated solar panels. Once I identified a location, it took maybe 15 minutes to install, and I’m not too handy anymore. I’m very happy with the kit. Though somewhat expensive, they serve my needs very well. If your looking for a simple DIY security camera system with no ongoing subscription fees you should definitely consider eufy products.

Flexibility with excellent video and long battery life
These cameras provide great picture clarity and have excellent battery life. They get 3-4 hours of sun most days and after 2 months the batteries are still at 100%.With the HomeBase 3 I really like that I can have some of my older Eufy cameras on both Apple HomeKit and in the Eufy app. I keep most of the newer cameras in Eufy exclusively because you loose resolution if they are in HomeKit. I keep my indoor cameras in HomeKit and Eufy and my outdoor cameras in Eufy only. It is great to have the flexibility. My only gripe is the Eufy geofencing does not work. Enabling it sucks down your phone battery and it routinely fails to recognize if someone leaves or returns. I have basically shut that feature off and use HomeKit for geofencing. But otherwise I highly recommend these.

5 Stars – Excellent Camera with Local Storage and Impressive Night
I’ve been using the Eufy e330 camera for a little while now and I’m thoroughly impressed. One of my main requirements was avoiding a monthly subscription since I already have a NAS at home. Thankfully, this camera supports local storage, which makes it a perfect fit.Setup was straightforward, and I love that it comes with two solar panels—especially since I mounted the cameras in locations that don’t have easy access to power outlets. The solar panels keep the battery topped off without any extra hassle. The Eufy app is user-friendly and lets you arm or disarm all cameras—or just individual ones—with ease. Whether I’m at home or away, I can control everything remotely without any issues.Where this camera really shines is the night vision. It’s not the typical black-and-white you get with most cameras—instead, you still get color night vision, and the clarity is excellent. This has honestly been one of the best night vision cameras I’ve used to date.Highly recommend the Eufy e330 if you're looking for a solid, subscription-free camera with reliable performance and great image quality—day or night.
